The Good News

Nandhini's Chamber,

Nandhini started walking inside the palace as soon as he descended the stairs, Urvashi followed her.

Nandini stopped unexpectedly and placed her hand on her head. Urvashi became concerned. " Akka are you alright?" Questioned Urvashi.

Nandhini kept a hand on Urvashi's shoulder for balance as her vision began to blur, she felt her leg about to give up.

" AKKA!" Urvashi shouted as soon as Nandhini collapsed.

Urvashi started to scream her Name, Kundavai, and Sembian Madevi who stood out came surging inside because of Urvashi's screams.

Urvashi started to pat Nandhini's cheeks, to wake her up but it was of no use

Kundavai called the vidhiyar immediately to check on Nandhini. As she didn't want her brother to blame her for Nandhini's condition.

The vidhiyar came immediately to check on Nandhini. Nandhini was made to lie on the bed.

Urvashi stood beside Nandhini, and Kundavai and Sembian Madevi were sitting outside.

The Vidhiyar checked Nandhini and told something to Urvashi. Her face beamed with happiness, and tears of happiness started flowing from her eyes.

Urvashi immediately removed a layer of her necklaces and gave them to the vidhiyar as a gift.

He hesitates to take, it but Urvashi insisted him to take it. He thanked Urvashi.

The vidhiyar soon came out of the chamber, and Kundavai enquired about the vidhiyar about Nandhini.

The vidhiyar smiled and replied, " Devi there is nothing to worry about her, in fact, we have a happy news".

"What! " Exclaimed Kundavai.

" Yes Devi, Chola Nadu is going to get a new hire." Announced the Vidhiyar.

Kundavai and Sembian Madevi were very happy, they gifted the vidhiyar with a generous amount of gold coins.

Nandhini had woken up by the time, everyone in the palace got to know about the news.

Urvashi who was sitting beside her helped her get up.

" What happen Urvashi?" Questioned Nandhini, rubbing her eyes.

Urvashi grinned at Nandhini, Nandhini looked at Urvashi confused.

" Congratulations Akka, you are going to become a mother!" Revealed Urvashi.

"What!?" Nandhini's eyes widened with shock. " No, No please tell me that this is a dream." Asked Nandhini, a bit tensed.

Urvashi's face fell at Nandhini's reaction." I thought you would be happy akka." Said Urvashi in a soft tone.

Nandhini immediately got up from the bed, "Happy! How do you expect me to be happy? If anyone from Pandya Nadu got to know about this, they will disown me or even kill my child!" Panicked Nandhini.

" No, they won't akka." Told Urvashi as she tried to calm down Nandhini.

" You know nothing about them." Hissed Nandhini, causing Urvashi to close her mouth immediately.

A small smile crept on Urvashi's face, " I see you have started to care about the child from now."

Nandhini's eyes softened at her words, " No, I can never love this child. " Whispered Nandhini as she placed her hand on her stomach as sat on the bed.

Urvashi sighed "Is it because Karikalar is the father?" Questioned Urvashi.

Nandhini nodded, Urvashi kept her hand on Nandhini's shoulder, "Tell me that you never love Karikalar ?"
