She bangs her hand against the door, "I know that you like me, why are you denying it?" I looked at her straight in the eyes. "There is nothing for me to say anymore, you made it pretty clear back then when I first confessed to you and the rejection I was met with caused me to stay away."
She looks down in shame, "Well I was stupid for letting you go," I take a deep breath to hold in the tears because the truth is I still love her but the betrayal I got from her was just too much, my next words drove the dagger deeper into both of our hearts. "Well I guess we let each other go to the point where we are not meant for each other anymore, I'm sorry Luciana but my heart has decided to let go of you."
I turn to leave and she holds my arm, "Don't do this to us Armane." "There was never a us, because you denied us that chance," and with that I yank my arm away and leave with tears streaming down my face.
