I've been skipping school with Youngjae for the past four days. I'm surprised that my teachers haven't called home yet. Or maybe they have and Mom and Dad just haven't read the messages.

I've been showing Youngjae my collection of dandelions. I brought one of my oldest dandelion binders to school the second day we skipped. He was amazed that I started collecting when I was only seven years old. Youngjae said I was the coolest person he ever met. It made me so happy hearing those words that I hugged him. I've never hugged a boy before other than Dad and Uncle Xero. I felt strange afterwards. The best way to describe it was that I felt tingly all over.

Then after I show him my dandelion collections, he pulls out a movie and we watch it together. In the past four days, we've watched, Frozen, Maleficent, The Pagemaster, and The Breakfast Club. The latter of the four is probably the best movie I've seen by far. My favorite character is The Brain. He's so cute and reminds me of myself.

At first, Youngjae was shocked that I spoke English. He said it wasn't fair that I could understand his four favorite movies and he couldn't. Then he asked me if I was really sure that I'm not American. I told him I was very sure and that he can look at my birth certificate if he wants to.

Today is Saturday, so I don't have to skip school to go to his house. I just have to get past my mother. I don't usually leave the house so she may get suspicious today when I make my attempt to leave.

Since I didn't have to put on my uniform, I tried my best to look good. I picked out a pink skirt made of lace, then put a plain white blouse on top. For my shoes, I just decided to wear white flip flops that Mom gave me. I didn't want to look too over done so I just put my hair up in a bun.

Before leaving, I walked over to my movie stand. I only have around fifty movies, so it's sort of empty. I looked over the movies that I own and tried to find one he may have not watched. Youngjae seemed to like a variety of movies. So I picked up, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. It's one of my favorite movies. I just hope he will be interested in watching it.

I walked out of my room and towards the front door of our apartment. Our apartment is basically made out of a hallway, so it's a bit difficult to escape.

Just as I put my hand on the knob, Essie popped out of nowhere. "Where are you going?" Before I could answer her, or was forced to answer her, I left. I made sure the close the door in her face and run. Obviously she can run after me, so I had to be a little quicker than normal, despite wearing a skirt.

I kept running around corners so that Essie wouldn't see me. She'll probably tell Mom about it later. I'm sure I'll get myself in trouble. While I'm at Youngjae's house I'll have to ask him what I should tell my Mom.

Once I was in front of the library, I took my cell phone out and called Youngjae. He picked up before the first ring cut off. "Hello!" His shout echoed in my ear for a second, causing it to hurt. "Hey," I said slowly. "Can I get a ride to your house from the library? I'm standing right in front of the building." I imagined Youngjae's giant smile. "Sure thing, friend! I'll be over with my driver in a bit!" He said everything with an excited shout. It was so like him. He always makes me go deaf with all of his shouting. I like it though.

It took about thirty minutes for him to arrive. My feet hurt and I was cold from the spring wind that was blowing around. When I saw his car pull up to the curb, I couldn't have been happier.

The driver opened the back door for me and I slid into the back seat. The car was heated and warm. "Hey, Emmy!" Youngjae shouted my name next to me and gave me a hug. I rubbed my legs when he let go of me, trying to warm them up. "Are you cold? Did you have to wait for a long time?" I shook my head. Youngjae flung his head back dramatically and covered his forehead with his hand. "I'm so sorry. We got stuck in traffic." I looked up at him and smiled, "It's okay, Youngjae." He smiled back and resumed his normal seating position.
