It's been nearly seven hours since we started on our journey and he had been silently driving next to me without uttering a single word.

"I could drive, you can rest for sometime" I offered.

"No." He coldly stated.

"You don't have to be so arrogant, I was just helping." I mumbled mostly to myself, which he obviously heard, thanks to our extra sensitive werewolf hearing.

"Well thanks for your help, its just an hour more." He said with sarcasm dripping with every word.

"Listen up Mister, I don't know what vile creature crawled up your ass and died, I was just trying to help you, which I can assume is a foreign gesture for you." I whisper yelled at him. I really didn't want to wake up Athena because of this stupid arrogant asshat. She had woken up some time back and it hasn't been long back that she had fallen asleep.

Soon the car came to a screeching halt and he looked at me, and even without directly looking him in the eyes I could feel anger rolling off of him in waves. Uh oh Eve, you're in deep shit, I wondered as I gazed into his blue eyes that held so much anger, for me.

"Now you listen up Miss, just because you are my mate, does not give you the right to talk disrespectfully. This was your first warning and now for your benefit, I hope there isn't a second one." He calmly stated as he again started the car.

Finally we entered a huge metal gate, with high walls lined with electric barbed wire, whoa friendly much. I had heard a lot about the Warrior Pack while I was staying at my old pack.

Warrior Pack is different as compared to other packs, they were like an army of sort, consisting of only trained warrior who assist other packs during war. They were known for their warlike frenzy, and their bold force and strength. Their pack was small, but what they lack in number they easily make up in physical strength.

Soon a huge house came into view, and my eyes must have turned the size of golf balls. Alpha's live separately so this should be his house, and it was ginormous. I could vaguely see him smirking at my reaction.

After I had finally settled in my room which was farthest from Ares's room as per His Highness instruction. But luckily Athena's room was just adjacent to my room. After feeding and playing with her I had finally tucked her in.

I made a bee line to my room and heavily sat down on my bed. I stuffed my face against the pillow and closed my eyes and all I could see were his red eyes, constantly reminding me of my "uncle" and all the things he had done with me. In this moment I felt really alone, yes I had Athena, but I needed someone who would listen to my misery and just help me carry my burden for some time. I really missed my parents, and the thought that they would never be there to comfort me again just made me even more upset.

I hadn't realised I was crying till I felt wetness on my lashes dripping down as my throat started to tighten. I opened my mouth to let in a small breath as tears welled in my eyes one after another, soon it turned into a flowing stream of sorrow that dripped down on the pillows.

I was overcome by the wave of emotions and I would break down entirely, all my defences washed away in those salty tears. My loud wails muffled by the pillows. In this moment I was thankful that his room was far away. But I was jolted back to reality when a rough hand lay on my back rubbing soothing circles, sending electric spark with each touch.

I didn't get up, I didn't want to show him my red blotchy face, from what I've seen when I cry I do not look pretty. He laid down and pulled me closer and rested my face on his rock hard chest and silently kissed the top of my head. Such a simple gesture made my heart flutter a million miles an hour and made my cheeks turn a bright shade of red. He held me tight as I cried onto his chest as he gently tucked my hair behind my ear.

This was the first time in my whole life I wished that this night would never end.
