Song Of The Chapter- It's Time, Imagine Dragons
Lucas (the day Nia gets and inheritance)
It's like 1 in the morning now and Nia and I are laying on the bed with Mickey in between us. This day has been so hectic. First with my kicking Rochelle to the curb, Mickey calling Nia mommy, her and I making out, and her finding out that her and her family are loaded!
This girl is amazing, not because she's rich but because she's so smart and beautiful and funny and sweet and loving and wonderful and I think I love her. 'Shit did I just say that in my head? And like the idea of loving Nia!?'
"Lucas?" I hear Nia whisper softly. "Yea baby?" I say smiling to myself. "I can't sleep." I sit up slowly and look in her general direction since its pitch black and I can't see a thing.
"What's wrong?" Nia turns on the dim bedside lamp illuminating her face. "I... I -I'm scared Lucas. What if people start going crazy because on this 'money'?" Getting up I gently pick up Mickey and place him back on the little bed next to Nia's.
"Hey look at me," say kneeling in front if her as I gently move hair from her face. "Nobody is going to go crazy.. You already told Mariah and Hiro and they were fine. Baby everything is going to be okay."
"But Lucas I don't want my friends to leave me... I don't want you to leave me..." Placing my hand on her neck I pull her face to mine and kiss her with all I have.
"I'm not going anywhere mi amor. I'll always be here, I promise." I say with my lips still slightly pressed against hers. I feel rather than see her smile.
"Thank you..." She wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me again this time running her tongue across my bottom lip. I open my mouth and as our mouths move in sync I move so that we are both laying side by side on her bed.
I pull back and give her one last kiss before pulling her close to my body as we drift off to sleep.
"Daddy! Daddy!" Mickey pokes my side and yells my name. "What buddy?" I say feeling around the bed for Nia.
I sit up when I realize her side is cold. "Yay! Daddy! Momma says it time to get up! She made us sum foods daddy!" Mickey jumps up and down then runs out of the room just as Noe is walking past.
"Hey man... Where the fuck is your shirt?!" He yells. 'Oh shit!' I think looking around for my t-shirt. "Sorry. I uh we, um. We didn't do anything I promise Noe!"
He laughs pulling a hoodie over his head. "I know bro. Mickey was in the bed. And I know my sister, I trust her and I guess because of that I trust you too." He said with a slight grimace.
"Nia really like you man. I won't get in the way of that. But if you hurt my sister I will kick your ass!" He says punching my arm quite hard.
"I will never intentionally hurt her I love her too much to ever hurt her." Noe's face looks surprised and I realize that I just told him I love his sister.
"You love her?" He asks walking more into the room. "Yea. I think I do." I smile and Noe gives me a pat on the back and walks out of the room tossing me a toothbrush before leaving.
I have to tell her that I love her. After I finish up in the restroom I make my way down the hall to the kitchen where Nia is standing in front of the stove facing away from me. Smiling to myself I slowly walk up behind her.
Mickey is sitting on the couch with Nia's mom and I hear Noe on the phone I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her waist pulling her close and kissing right under her right earlobe.
"Morning baby." I whisper hugging her closer to me. Nia giggles as she covers the food and turns off the stove. "Morning love." She turns in my arms so that she's now facing me and wraps her arms around my neck kissing me softly before pulling away.
"Since when do you call people love?" I ask smiling. "Since now?" Nia says with a laugh. "I like your laugh baby."
"Why do you keep calling me baby?" She asks trying to turn back to the counter.
"Because I want you to be my girlfriend and I'm to nervous to ask so I figured that if I kept calling to baby you would question me by saying that you aren't my girlfriend. Then I'd have to be like 'well do you wanna be?'
And hopefully you would say yes because then I could kiss you all the time and Mickey would be able to finally call you mommy.
Because last night before he fell asleep he called you his mommy Nia and this morning woke me up saying 'momma' and I love you and I really wanna to be with you if you wanna be with me too." I say quickly looking at Nia hoping she won't make me repeat my self.
"You want me to be your girlfriend?" I nod slowly as she continues, "And Mickey wants to call me mom?" I nod once more tightening my grip slightly around her waist. "And you love me?" Nia says in a whisper.
"Yes Nia I do. I love you." Smiling she kisses my lips, and before pulling away she says something that makes me happy inside.
"Yes, I want to be your girlfriend... And Mickey's momma."
