My extraordinary life as a bakery owner fell to pieces. What the heck is going on here? Let me live my life in peace! I don't want to marry that douchebag!

A while back...

Thunder rumbles

"My lady, I am afraid, we cannot hold a picnic with the other guests today because of the weather." 

"Oh dear... how bad is my life going to be!" 

"My lady! Tomorrow will be a good day for a picnic with the ladies!"

Inside the mansion...

I am soaked in the rain, and this weather is driving me crazy! Ugh! What a great day to start my peaceful, planned life. Not so long ago I figured out that the crown prince would come crawling back for me. Speak of the devil, I got kidnapped! That bastard ordered his people to kidnap me while I was heading in for a warm bath. 

A while ago...

"Shut up! Grabbed her!" 

"Be quiet!"

"You suck at this job! What the hell do you think you're doing!" 

Elysia opens the door. 

"Now!" 

"Who are you?!" 

"Let go of me!"

"!!!..."

At the palace...

"Mmmm! Mmmph!" 

The Crown Prince took off the cloth.

Elysia coughs 

"Hello and welcome..."

"Such a nice warm welcoming to your guest." 

Elysia looked at him with anger in her eyes as she was speaking sarcastically. 

"What do you want? You could have set up a meeting place instead of kidnapping me." 

"You know you can't run away from me forever, what happened to you? You said you would stay by my side forever and I accepted your marriage proposal so why are you changing your mind?" Kaian makes a fake sad facial expression. 

Why is he making a face like that when I could tell that he's obviously trying to fake it? 

"I thought I made it clear that I will not be married to you." Elysia looked at him with hatred in her eyes. 

"What makes you change your mind? My love?" asked Kaian curiously. 

Stop calling me my love, this is so cringe. Like who is your love? I know it ain't me no more. 

"I have come to a realization that I have fallen for someone who is much better than you."

Just lie to him with white lies like how he lied to me. Heh. 

Kaian's face turned red as he roughly grabbed me by my shoulders and asked who the man was. 

Ok, man calm down, what makes you get all jealous like this for like I thought you wanted to kill me?? 

"Why are you getting all worked up? I thought you had already taken my word that I wouldn't be married to a man like you. Don't you want to become king before your brother becomes king?"

He knows that I am right, hah! Foolish man!

He slowly backed up and grabbed a chair and slammed it to the hard marble floor. He didn't even look me in the eyes because he knew that I was right about his brother becoming king before him. I knew that he will try to kill his brother's lover. I was set up in his plans for the throne to fall into his hands. 

"Whether you like it or not you're becoming my wife." 

Oh, great! I am definitely planning my death for the second time. Forced marriage blah blah blah... I was trapped in this nasty man's palace for so long, and he even told my parents that I would accept his marriage proposal. My father was shocked and my mother was happy. I can see the money signs in her eyes. Well by the time he's planning the wedding I will be planning my death. 

Didn't I tell him that I have fallen for another man? He probably forgot about it and it was a lie anyways but now that it has come to this, I have eyes on me and they follow me everywhere I go and I can't even leave the mansion. "Oh, my lord..." As I was praying, the maids looked at me like I was some crazy lady. 

I was waiting until it was nighttime so I could sneak out because the people here are mostly lazy and they even fell asleep when they were supposed to be on guard. Kaian had been planning the war and by the time he married me, he would cage me and marry his other lover instead.

So, for the past three weeks, he couldn't kill his older brother's lover. Hah! He failed to kill her and I was supposed to be the one who drugged her when meeting up with her but I didn't want to kill such a kind soul like her so I faked her death. Kaian didn't suspect a thing or two because that man is brainless like that. He's probably like, "Oh, you did your work, well done!" And just like that he believed me completely. It feels like I am the smart one in my second life and in my first life I was a fool. Did receiving a second chance to live make Kaian dumb? Pfft...! Hah! Now the table had turned, I wouldn't mind manipulating him instead. 

It was a lovely day and I set up a time to meet up with the princess since I will be giving my words to her that I would let her be my mistress. I didn't care until we met, she looked like she didn't know me. Did she get brainwashed? 

"Ahem... princess..."

"No need to be formal with your words." 

"Why did you ask me to meet up?"

"Do you like the prince, Kaian?" I took a sip of my tea. 

"Pfft!... hahaha! Me? No." 

I spit out the tea as I heard her say that. 

Um.... what did I just see? Did she go crazy after--- never mind. My jaw dropped, I thought she was falling for him head over heels. What in the world happened to her? She's usually shy but this Hermione is different. 

"Is this what you wanted to meet up for?" 

"No." 

"I have a lot of things in mind that you would like to know so why don't we become partners and helped each other with what we wanted."

"Do you mean in that way or...?'

"Princess Hermione, do you see me like that?"

"Ah...! No!" she looks away shyly. 

Why did her expression change so quickly? Did she fall in love with me at first sight? Um.... this isn't what I am planning to do but she is already clingy.
