(Charitey Lee)
"Charitey, get down here fast" my mother cried

I grabbed my bat from my closet and ran downstairs as fast as possible. Once I stepped foot to the hard wood floor, I peeked around the corner. My eyes grew large as I seen him dragging my mother by her hair.

I quietly snuck up behind him, slamming my bat to the back of his skull. He collapsed to the floor, twitching in response. My mother hurried to get to me, as I dropped my bat on the floor.

"You did good, baby girl" she cried, clutching onto me tightly. "Come on charitey, we're getting away from here"

She went to get her keys and unlocked the doors to her Ferrari. I got ran out into the stormy night and hopped into her car. I saw as she was about to run to the car, when Jacob came running out.

He tackled her to the ground, she tried crawling away, but failed. I searched her car for a weapon to use, I found a hammer. Quickly I got out into the pouring rain, aimed, and threw the hammer.

I hit him in the back, he dropped my mother and fell to the ground. She got up, is both hurrying to get back into the car. She started it, backing out. Leaving tire marks on the road, we burned out. Leaving that horrible man laying face down to the ground.

"What are we gonna do now, mom?" I asked, staring out of the window

"We're gonna start over, we don't need him. We deserve better, would you like that?" She gave me a small smile

I nodded in response. We pulled up to a hotel, not to to perfect, not to horrible, but just right. As we walked into the hotel, we received our hotel keys, and went straight to our room.

You see, I'm fifteen. My mom is African American and my dad is white, he's the man we were just getting away from. I told my mother he wasn't right from the beginning but, no one ever listens to me.

My little sister went missing last year, she was only five. Her birthday was two days ago, so she's six. My mother doesn't know, but I know what happened. My dad put her up for adoption, but my mom didn't believe, she was so blinded by her love for him.

Like I said no one ever listens to me, it's okay though, cause I'm gonna find her. I'm gonna raise her, she doesn't need a mother who doesn't care, I need her, she's the only one I've got.

I took off my shoes, followed by my clothes. I was left in my sports bra and shorts. I laid into the bed, looking straight to the alarm clock. 2am in the morning, my eye lids soon became heavy, I closed my eyes, drifting off into a peaceful slumber.

{next day}

I woke up to the sun shining in my face, I looked to my right and seen my mother sound asleep, she doesn't deserve me after what's she's done to my little sister.

To tell the truth, I've been planing on running away for a while now. We're wealthy, but only because of my grandpa. He owns his own business in Los Angeles California, he told me if I needed anything just call him.

I quietly crawled out of bed, slipping what I had on yesterday, back on. I looked in my mothers purse to find her car keys, taking five hundred dollars and her debit card from her purse. I quickly ran downstairs to the lobby, going straight to the front desk.

"Hello, how may I hall you?" The lady genuinely asked

"Uhm, do you have a computer I can use?" I asked softly

She pointed to the corner behind me.

"Thank you" I smiled, quickly running over to it

I looked up the closest adoption centers there were. I looked on all of them, searching for Allison Lee. Got it, I took out a pice of paper writing the address down. I logged off and ran outside, unlocking the doors to my mothers car.

While driving, I took out the piece of paper.

"2473 blvd, on the corner of west avenue" I whispered to myself.

I drove for thirty minutes before finding the place, once I pulled up. I got out, going into the building.

"Hi there, would you like to adopt?" Asked the lady

"Not today, I just want to look?" I said

The lady nodded and took me to this back room, filled with toys.

"Girls, we have a visitor" the lady sung out

About ten to twelve little girls ran out, once Allison laid her eyes on me they lit up. I smiled as I looked to her.

"Okay, I let you interview the one you pick" the lady said, I nodded my head

Pretending to look at them all, I pointed to Allison.

"That one" I whispered

"Oh, Allison. Come on, we're doing an interview" The lady led us to another room, closing the door behind herself.

Allison ran up to me, hugging my neck tightly as I hugged her little frame. She quietly sobbed into my neck, I pulled away and looked her into the eyes.

"I've missed you so much" I cried

"I missed you too, is mommy and Jacob here?" She quietly asked

"No, I would never let them hurt you like that again" I hugged her again "I can't adopt you, only because I'm fifteen, but I promise I'll be back to get you" I told her

She nodded her head.

We left the room, going back to the first room, where all the other girls were.

"Is that all for today?" The lady asked

I nodded my head

"Okay girls back to your rooms" she told them

I watched as Allison and some other little girl walk into their room. B14 was their room. I walked back out to the car, driving off to another destination.

As I walked into Walmart, I went straight to the clothing area. I looked at the clothes for kids, picking out ten outfits for Allison and seven for me. I turned around and walked to the food area graving something for us to eat.

As I was going to check out, I bumped into someone. Falling to the ground, I hurt my wrist.

"Oh shit, I'm so sorry. Here let me help you up" said the guy in front of me.

I after dusting myself off, I looked at the person. Freezing in my movement. Justin Bieber, the guy who knocked me down, was justin Bieber. My breathe hitched in my throat

"Are you okay?" He asked

"Y-yea, just hurt my wrist, that's all" I rubbed my wrist

"Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going" he apologized

"I-it's okay" I picked up the clothes I dropped

"I'm justin, as if you didn't know already" he chuckled

"Oh, I'm charitey" I told him hesitantly "I've-ive gotta go"

I ran to check out my things

"Nice to meet you" he yelled out behind me

I checked out my things and left. I put everything into the trunk of the car and drove to a hotel nearby.
