I slept well... though when I told Sun, he didn't believe me.
Who would? I look like a monster under the bed. My eyes are red and puffy from crying and they burn like a campfire.

The Daycare is open now and kids are just piling in like hunger dogs. I don't have the energy to run around. It's like I got my battery drained to one percent.

~~~
I often go to the ballpit and just cry. It's not like I have anything else to do.
If the ballpit is too busy though, I often go into the play structures, find a comfortable spot, and think. Just; think.
I miss dad. I miss home. I miss mom. Not Becky. MOM.
~~~
I sniffed, clutching my knees tightly. I could hear Sun gathering children around for naptime again. I don't want to get up but I have to. I don't want to make a scene.

I groan as I gather myself up and emerge from the ball pit. Sun seems to brighten as I approach him for a sleeping bag.
"Sunshine! There you are. I was worried I would have to look for you!" He beamed, handing you a navy blue bag.
"I'm glad at least someone cares." I mumbled under my breath. I left Sun alone and placed my bag in the same spot as I slept before. I made sure to place the plushies on either side of me before crawling into the sleeping bag.

I don't even wait for Moon to come out. I'm too tired.

♣︎Moon's POV♣︎

It feels nice to put every child to bed. To see them sleep peacefully without any stress. It's also calming to know they aren't causing trouble.

I do repeatedly glance at one certain bag, where a certain sleeping child clutches their plushies tightly.
"Your worried too.." Sun's thoughts bursted through my program. I sigh in response.
"Yeah.. I am." I think back, getting a little 'whirr' as a reply.

I stand there in silent, watching Y/N's chest rise and fall with every breath.

"They don't have to go! They could be our little secret!" Sun's thoughts came in rapid, showing he was excited with this idea.

I was not.
I didn't want to burst his bubble but burst I must.

"They can't stay here forever Sunny," I whispered, attaching myself to the hook and flying up onto our balcony, "We need to get them to security."
Sun stayed silent to this.
"We can talk about this later. I promise Sunny." I sigh.
Silence. Looks like he went to bed. I suppose he needs it.

~~~
I glance down at all the sleeping children, my eyes eventually landing on Y/N.
"I'm sorry." I whispered to nobody, "I'm so sorry.."
♣︎Y/N's POV♣︎
I open my eyes, feeling strangely sleepy. Looking around, I see many kids whispering among themselves with laughter.
Some eyes were looking behind me and as a reflex, I turned around and found Sun chasing down a certain kid with flushable wipes in his hands.
"Zack, come back here right now young man," Sun called, reaching for the kids shoulder, "Clean up, clean up, clean up!"
The boy, Zack, stuck out his tongue and swiftly dodged Sun, getting just out of his reach.
"You can't catch me you tin can!" He called out.
Just as he bumped into me.
"ACK!" We both yelled. I fell onto my butt while he fell onto his stomach. I hope he broke something.
"Oh my goodness! Are you two okay?" Sun called out.
I rubbed my back, "Yeah, I'm fine."
"He said WE, dumbie." The kid grumbled as he pushed himself up.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
Sun reached us both and extended both hands out, one for each of us. I gladly grabbed his mechanical hand and he pulled me up gently.
Zack, on the other hand, just pushed it away and stood up himself.
"Now come on young man, we need to get you cleaned up!" Sun crossed his arms, his voice sterner than it was before.
It was Zacks time to roll his eyes. "Fine! But I'm not going to listen to a piece of metal forever." He stomped.
Sun's rays shrunk slightly as he turned away and walked over to the clean-up closet.
"That was mean you know?" I snapped, grabbing the kid by the shoulders and spinning him around, "Apologize!"
He pushed me away. "No! He's just a pile of metal that needs to be scrapped! I don't need to listen to him!"
I lost it. That's the best way I can explain it.
I slapped him directly at his face. I could feel eyes pearing into me with shock. Not like I cared though.
Zack froze in shock, processing what had just happened.
It didn't take long.
"What the heck was that for?!" He growled.
"For being mean to Sun!" I spat back. I was not in the mood for this kid.
"He doesn't have emotions! He's worthless!" Zack argued, getting really close to me.
I practically growled in his face, my eyes staring into his.
"He is not worthless. He is NOT a tin can. AND HE IS NOT, A, MISTAKE!" I slapped him again, this time, harder.
His face was imprinted with a giant red handprint. When he looked back at me, his eyes were blazing with rage.
Uh oh, what did I do.
"COME HERE YOU!" He barked, lunging at me.
I froze in my spot and before I got trampled to the ground, two hands picked us both up and into the air.
"WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA?!" Zack kicked.
"TIMEOUT! YOU TWO ARE TAKING A TIMEEE OUTTT!" Sun howled, walking over to two tables, both with signs spelling, 'Timeout! :('. He placed me on the right one and Zack on the other one.
"Now you two think about what you've done and apologize to each other!" Sun puffed, walking over to the rest of the kids, who were all gathered around, chatting with eachother.
I glared at Zack, which he returned back.
"Heck you." He grumbled.
"Heck you too." I spit back.
