Before The End

I opened my eyes, my alarm woke me up, another ugly morning where I'm not supposed to be. To be more exactly my family decided to move to Honduras about three years ago, since then I've been living in hell.

It's not the place, it's just that, it's not me. This is different...

So, as I was saying I woke up. The song Bad from The Cab woke me up. I turn the light on and went to the bathroom,  I washed my face and my teeth, I brushed my light brown hair, and sighed. I'll never be beautiful.

I stared at my closet. I had a bad feeling about everything. I put on my school uniform and picked my backpack. Weirdly I put all my saved money inside my backpack and food. I wasn't even hungry. I put deodorant and perfume on, and walked closing the door. I notice my both parents packing.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"We have a business problem and we need to go right now, do you mind staying alone for two days?" my mom said.

"It's okay," I said.

"You may stay with a friend if you want to." my dad permitted me.

I nodded. They walked down to the front door with me, they got on their car and left me there waiting for the bus alone. I called Ava, who had been a very nice friend to me for so long, to asked her if I could stay in her house.

"Ava?" I said.

"Hi Adora, what's up?" answered Ava.

"Ha-ha funny story, my parents had a business problem and they left me here, would you mind if I stay for two days with you?" I asked.

"Let me ask" she said as I heard footsteps through the phone.

I heard voices, the guard was smiling at me, as always, but there was something wrong with him, he's always happy to see me, which scares me. He's probably a pedophile. The wind blew and my legs were freezing, it's so cold. Where's the bus when you need it? I decided to walk as I waited for Ava to answer something back.

"Am... Adora?" she asked.

"Yes? I'm here" I said.

"They said yes." she answered.

"Oh fine, thank you. See you at school today." I hung up.

The bus finally arrived and I went up to it, I said good morning as always and searched for a seat. I am the first one they picked up so I could have any seat I wanted except that there are a few kids who would hate me forever if I sit where they sit. I noticed I wasn't the only one in the bus, my classmate, Mario, was there as well. I sat in a seat next to his. I smiled, he smiled back.

"Hey." I said.

"Hi" he smirked.

And that was all we said. I grabbed my earphones out of my backpack and played the music. It didn't matter which song would come up, I just wanted to be alone or in my own world. Luckily one of my favorite songs came first. Shadow Moses from BMTH. (Bring Me The Horizon)

Good band, I thought. Since I'm one of the first ones, I see where everybody lives, but it wasn't something fantastic to be amazed about. I let the music in shuffle, so I didn't mind which song came after it, and after, and after. It's so sempiternal. It never ends.

Forty minutes later my friend, Betty, was sitting in front of me with her brother who seemed very nice even though I never talked to him. We exchanged smiles. She sat down and it ended there. I was hoping for a Hi, how are you? But nothing happened, why today?

Time passed and we picked up the last boy, he had light brown eyes, and dark hair. He seemed really cute, but we didn't have a good friendship, well we didn't even talk to each other. And he's kind of mean, so I love-hate him.

We made it to school, I didn't know why today wasn't a good day to come to school, I was just sleepy. My schedule was math at first hour, music second hour, and social studies third one. Then break and the back to classes. I haven't memorized my schedule yet. Shame on me.

I walked outside the bus and waited for Betty and her brother, we had to take him to his class or else he'll cry, well that's what she said. This time she talked to me and we talked about everything we could, when we got to first grade I waved to my cousin. He's so adorable.

We stopped talking and walked a long way to our classrooms, she's in section D, I'm in section B. Far away from each other.

"Bye" she said.

"Bye" I replied.

I walked inside my classroom, I sat down in my desk and stared at the teacher's desk. Mrs. Mariah, she's my math teacher, Mariah. I went to my locker and grabbed my first three period books. I went back to my seat. Sydney, my first friend in school, came in and went to her chair. 

"Hello, sexy" she said.

"Hi" I answered.

Her boyfriend Matthew followed her, they hugged and went out of the classroom. I was sitting there bored. The boy who seemed to have a crush on me for so long smiled at me and kissed my cheek.

"Hello lovely," he said.

I nodded, I knew he's probably doing that on purpose, he knew that I liked Connor since my first day in this school. Connor is this typical guy who wants to be the center of attention, but everyone hates him. Which I don't think so.

We exchanged a few looks and smiles or words, but we never had a decent conversation. I wished it so bad. His eyes are light brown, every time I see them I freeze, he's just so handsome, for me. Later Ava came in, she left her things in her desk and walked up to me.

"Hey" she said.

"Hello." I replied.

"What are you looking at?" she asked me.

"what? am... nothing. Why?" I said.

She shooked her head and went next to me  and stared at what I was staring. "You deserve something better" she said.

"I just have a crush" I answered.

"For three years? C'mon, there's Barry who's crazy for you, and he's really handsome" she said.

"Barry is a good guy, but I like Connor" I said.

"Oh well, I was just saying." she said.

"Well, thank you for your opinion." I said.

The bell rang and everyone came in. They started to socialize, which was something they shouldn't do because Mrs. Mariah gets mad. I sat there still and Diego as always bothered me. He hugged me and said something nasty.

"Fuck you!" I answered back.

He left. Mrs. Mariah started to give the class, but for a while I was thinking about something else. The bell rang and rang and rang, and when I noticed we were in break. I was with my group of friends and my friend who is my fake wife Savannah, she's very nice to me.

She calls me wife I call her love. My other friend Audrey was sitting next to me, and her boyfriend too. Later Connor passed by and smiled at me, or I thought it was at me. I took my eyes away from him. 

Finally we were in Science, Ms. Rosie was recycling  some bottles and Savannah was helping her. We were sitting finishing the study guide when with this girl Sweet Marie, who's always bothering us, and Sydney. We were almost finish when we heard some shouting coming from Elementary and some weird noises coming from the farthest court.

I stood up and went outside to the balcony to have a better look, and for my surprise I found out that there were.......
