Minho had asked Seungmin out on a date the day they released their newest album ODDINARY. It was the day that everything would go downhill for everyone. They announced their relationship to Stray Kids and STAYS in mid-April after they had started to become more comfortable with each other, and both agreed to tell everyone at the same time. The reason they had gotten together was because Felix had convinced Minho to ask Seungmin out. Felix could see the love they had for each other as if no one else could see it as well. As much as they didn't want to, they knew that announcing the relationship would make JYP mad, so they tried (although not very well) to get them to break up. But it didn't work. Before Minho had asked Seungmin out on a date and started stating, Chan had had the biggest crush on Minho for the LONGEST time. It was before they even debuted, right before Minho was eliminated. Same for Hyunjin with Seungmin. Hyunjin had developed a crush on Seungmin but decided to not say anything to him. Eventually, they got together to make Seungmin and Minho jealous of the relationship that they had, but it didn't work out. Chan did develop a crush on Hyunjin, and Hyunjin developed one a few weeks later. After they had gotten together, they decided to tell the whole world because they were proud of what had happened after trying to break them up. Seungmin accidentally developed a crush on Hyunjin, but he didn't mean to, so he decided he should confide with Changbin to see what he should do about it.
Changbin understood that it was a mistake, but it still wasn't right in his opinion and decided to tell Hyunjin about it. Hyunjin doesn't care after he was told because he loves Chan too much to just break up with him right away. Seungmin can't help but feel bad because while he understands that Hyunjin can like whoever he pleases, he was starting to fall out of love with Minho and was getting bored of the relationship. Chan gets fed up with the fact that Seungmin started liking Hyunjin, and decided to tell Minho about it.

Chan and Minho text message
Chan: Hey your boyfriend keeps flirting with mine.
Minho: What
Chan: Yeah, Changbin told Hyunjin that Seungmin liked him, and how Seungmin fell out of love with you
Minho: oh okay
Turning off his phone and rolling over on his bed, the tears finally start cascading down his face as he cries himself to sleep.

The next morning, Minho finally get enough courage to talk to Seungmin and starts looking for him. Finally finding him in the kitchen, he asked him the question he was dreading to ask.
Minho gets Seungmins attention, "Hey."
Confused, Seungmin responds "Hi?"
Minho goes straight to the point, "Do you not like me anymore?"
Seungmin says "Yeah, pretty much."
It was time. "Do you want to break up? It seems like you don't want anything to do with me anymore, ever since you started looking at Hyunjin the way you used to look at me."
Seungmin says "yea, sorry"
Minho says "Okay" and leaves Seungmin alone

Jeongin likes Han and tells Felix so he can confess for him. Felix talks to Han "I'm pretty sure Innie likes you... like LIKES likes you..."
Later on, Felix did a live and accidentally told Stay that Jeongin likes Han. Stays snitched on Han because of Felix by tweeting out "Han doesn't like Jeongin?!"
Seungmin sees this all over twitter, and knows he has to tell Innie the bad news. "Innie, I don't think Han likes you in the way you like him..."
Minho thinks to himself "I think I like Innie"
