I walked into the little shop and immediately felt the warm air rush towards me accompanied by the smell of fresh smell of coffee.
"One medium Carmel Macchaito, please." I grabbed my wallet from my purse and counted out the bills.
"It's on me."
I looked up shocked to see the most gorgeous boy I'd ever laid eyes on. (Okay, maybe that was a stretch but he was hot.) His dark brown hair sticking up in the perfect messy fringe and gorgeous green eyes warm and welcoming and bright with happiness. Not to mention his forearms showing, exposed from his rolled up sleeves on his black sweater. You could tell he had chiseled abs under his sweater and white undershirt you could see peaking out at the collar.
"I, uhh, duh." Thank you parents for teaching my how to speak english. "I mean you don't have to." I pushed up my thick glasses like a total nerd.
"You know, most people would jump at the chance for a free coffee." His nametag read, Leo. Even his name is cute.
"I guess I'm not most people then." Nice!
"I know," He winked at me. WINKED. "But I can't let you pay for that coffee."
"Well then, I guess I can't stop you." What happened to my awkwardness from about two minutes ago. (Not that I'm complaining.)
I got a seat in the direct line of view of the cute barista guy, noticing him steal a glace every couple minutes. I took a long sip of my delicious confection of carmel, whipped cream and coffee and noticed a swipe of black ink on the side.
Dinner tonight at 7pm?? (589)277-1262
-Leo <3Did cute barista guy ask me out on a date? I walk out the door to the coffee shop, keeping my empty cup. Good thing I'm not doing anything tonight and it's a Saturday so my mom will let me go out. To be more specific it's the Saturday after senior year midterms and I could use a stress break.
"Mom! I'm home!" I yell as i walk through the back door.
"I thought you were just out getting coffee!" Oh yea, I did tell her I would be right back, oops.
"I decided to stay and drink it while I was there," or stay and make funny faces at Leo the cute barista guy. "Oh, yea and I'm going out tonight."
"Okay, fine by me!" Score! And no questions, double score.
I raced into my bedroom and whipped open my closet determined to find something cute to wear. Yellow sundress? No, it's winter. Dark blue sweater and jeans? No, that's just like what I wear to school everyday. Oooo, long teal sweater whith black legings and tall tan boots. Perfect.
I decide it would be a good time to text Leo the cute barista guy. Why I feel the beed to add that to the end of his name as I program it into my phone, I have no idea. I send him a quick text.
Me: So about that date...
Him: Pick you up at 6:45?
Me: So specific.
Him: Well I don't want to miss the reservation. What's your adress?
Me: 5026 Lakewood Dr, see you at 6:45!
Him: I'll be there. Btw, I was just kidding about the reservation there isn't one hahaAgh, why do I feel so giddy? I fall back onto my bed staring at the ceiling with a ridiculous grin on my face.
I spend the rest of my time how any other girl would. Listening to Five Seconds of Summer and One Direction while dancing aroung in my underwear. Duh.
I finish curling my hair just when the doorbell rings. I added a long gold necklace and gold clutch to my outfit after shouting that I'll get it to my mom.
