*This is my book translated into English. I know there's a lot of mistakes but English isn't my first language so I would be grateful if you would correct me. And when you do that, for example in the comments, I'll immediately correct these mistakes in the book. Thank you and I wish you all the best.*

"Miss Vazquez. " The psychologist said sitting across from the nervous assassin.
"I don't like it. " She said, wiping the blood from her forehead with a handkerchief.
"You say that every time we meet here." The woman in white sighed.
"I didn't want to come here at all. " Narin interrupted her. "It was his idea. " She snorted.
"Berni's? "
"I'm the only one who calls him that. " The black-haired girl said and threw a handkerchief on the psychologist's desk.
"Okay then, let's get back on topic." She straightened up, put her hands on the desk and looked at the annoyed patient. "You say you don't care about people. That you don't like them and they annoy you. "
"Because it's true. " She replied right away.
"But not everyone is like that, right? "
"Everyone. " She said right away. "With no exception. "
"Okay, so maybe I'll ask in a different way... " She thought. "You don't care... But when we talk about the people around you, I see that you care about a few of them." She said, looking the patient in the eye. "I'm right, aren't I? It's hard for you to admit it, isn't it? You really do care about people. It may be few people, just a handful, but..." She smiled. "You care. "
Vazquez shook her head and sighed heavily.
"People I've ever cared about have always left me. " She said in a rather cool tone. "Not because they left somewhere else or any other crap. " She added immediately when she saw that the psychologist wanted to say something. "They were dying. All. One by one. " She said hard looking the woman in the eyes. "Why should I care about anyone if they're going to leave anyway, and they'll leave painful wounds in their wake." She shrugged indifferently. "One..." She hesitated at the mere mention of this man. "Someone showed me kindness once... For the first time in many years..." She sighed. "I felt that someone really cared about me. That he cares about me as a person, not my body, which they sold for a lot of money. " She shook her head. "He... died..." She lowered her head, then shook herself off and looked at the psychologist again. "Something similar happened shortly thereafter. Attack. " She said. "Some betrayed me... Some I killed myself... And some died because of me..."
"What you're feeling is perfectly normal. Losing loved ones..."
"I let myself be talked into these stupid visits for one reason only. " Narin interrupted her. "There's no need to continue them. I've learned to turn off my emotions and this seems to be one of the best skills I've ever acquired. " She said as she got up from her chair.
The sound of gunshots echoed around. The psychologist got scared and started looking around the room in a panic.
"The still swishing of bullets that surrounded me, followed me all the way here too." Vazquez smiled as she reloaded the gun she had taken from her belt. She laughed seeing the fear in the other woman's eyes. "Oh no, that's not allowed. You can't do that. " She pointed at the confused woman. "You must never show that you can be hurt. " She pointed the gun at her. "Show no fear."
"What is going on here...?" She asked terrified.
"Hm? Well, I came to see you covered in blood from the very beginning, you shouldn't be surprised. " She said and a moment later there was the sound of a shot, and a second later the psychologist fell dead to the ground. She had a bullet in her head made by a sniper sitting on the roof of a neighboring building.
Narin just shook her head and headed for the exit.
She aimed the weapon properly and took a confident step forward. A second later, another gunfire rang out.

• Welcome to the first introductory chapter of my new book! I worked on this work for several long months (as well as with the other stories), but it was worth it and I hope you'll like the story.^^
• I think I'll be posting two chapters every Friday. However, if something changes or I don't have time to do it, then new parts may be delayed. I have officially written all the chapters for this book and will be starting work on an additional story about the main character's past. The new book, however, won't appear until after this 'main story' is completed. I hope everything goes according to plan.
• That's it for now. Have a nice day/evening everyone!
• See you soon!
