Angel was anything but ordinary, that's the only thing she knew for certain.
Her whole life she had been lied to, where she came from, who her real parents were, why she is in California. You see Angel was adopted after a fatal tragedy, she didn't remember anything, the only thing she knew about it is that she was the only survivor, but she wasn't allowed to ask any questions, period.
She hated, no, despised it at her "house" she is more of a slave than a child. Her "parents" had always wanted a daughter but only got sons. Why is there quotation marks, I hear you thinking. Well she never thought of it as home or her parents, more of a place where she sleeps. You see her "parents" wanted a girly-girl (so to speak). Angel was more of a Tomboy and they hated that, they made her wear dresses that were too itchy or heals that killed her feet. Lets just say she was the disappointment of the family. Which wasn't surprising seeing there were 5 of them.
