[A/N]

Hello! Thank you for reading my first fanfic!

I am going to keep my ANs short, because I don't know about you, but I like to get straight to reading.

All characters in the entire story (I don't want to write this again) belong to Rick Riordan, blablabla.

Enjoy!

~PERCY'S POV~

"Hurry up!" a familiar voice called to me. I smiled to myself as I slipped on my worn orange Camp HalfBlood t-shirt. "Yeah, yeah," I replied, "The fireworks don't start for another ten minutes". I exited Cabin 3 and my field of vision immediately blurred as I found myself on the ground. "I told you I'd judo flip you if you took more than twenty minutes, Seaweed Brain. Even the Aphrodite kids are already at the beach!" my girlfriend growled. I wildly grinned. "Great to see you too, Wise Girl."

Her stormy gray eyes softened a little bit, and she helped me up. I did a double take when I saw her. Annabeth had her curly blonde princess hair up in a ponytail, and she was wearing ratty jean shorts and an orange Camp HalfBlood shirt which had the bottom burned from an encounter with a hydra. She had a stern look in her intimidating eyes, but she was smirking playfully. I thought she looked absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't believe that next fall, we were going to start college together in New Rome.

After a few moments, I ran my hand through my midnight black hair, and stuttered, "Uh..so..Should we get going?"

"Right," Annabeth tore her eyes off of me and looked down, embarrassed. I just smiled again and wrapped my arm around her as we made our way down to the beach.

The beach was packed. In the past years at Camp Halfblood, the most campers we had for the fourth of July fireworks was 100, but over 200 now littered the dunes. A mix of orange and purple shirts formed the sea of mingling campers, and I smiled. After the Giant War, Greek and Roman demigods had finally settled their differences, and they frequently visited each other's camps. A little ways off, I saw my friends on a blanket, Hazel trying to calm Leo down as he jumped up and down with his hands ignited to signal us.

We all had thought Leo had died fighting Gaea, but one day during breakfast, he flew in on his bronze dragon Festus who we all thought was destroyed. Frank freaked out and turned into a chameleon, Jason fell out of his chair, Piper and Hazel started crying in relief, Annabeth shook her head, and I choked on my blue pancakes. (Don't ask.)

Weirdest of all, Calypso was on the dragon with him. I was surprised, and maybe a little jealous. Leo explained how they met and she instantly fell in love with him (which is when she slapped him), how he went back for her, and they made their way back here after making repairs. I felt guilty for not making sure the Gods kept their promise of releasing Calypso, but she wouldn't have it. "It's fine, I have Leo. Anyways, you aren't really my type anyways." I blushed red, and I saw Nico smiling in the background, his thumbs raised up.

And now, on the beach, my friends were all together having fun. Piper was braiding a feather into Hazel's hair, Frank was discussing fire safety with Leo who was battling to get his bag of Fonzies back from Calypso, Reyna and Jason were sitting with Nico who was blushing from all the attention, and Grover was playing an awful tune on his reed pipes for his girlfriend Juniper that vaguely sounded like "Toxic" by Britney Spears. Annabeth and I settled down next to them and snuggled into each other as we waited for the fireworks to start.

Annabeth squeezed her hand in mine and looked up into my sea green eyes.

"It's really great, isn't it? All of our friends in one place, happily enjoying each other's company without worries of a monster attack," Annabeth murmured into my ear as the next firework streaked through the sky. Being dyslexic, it was almost impossible to make out, but it seemed to read as "All Da Ladies Luv Leo!", no doubt made by Leo himself. "Yeah," I replied, before leaning down and whispering,

"I love you Wise Girl."

"I love you too, Seaweed Brain."

And then we kissed under the light of the stars and fireworks as the world around us dissolved.

Little did I know that the peace was ending sooner than I realized.

[A/N] Yippee! The first chapter is done! This was just an intro, so it doesn't include the plot. There were a few things left unmentioned at the end of BOO, so I decided to answer them. Thanks for reading, and enjoy!

Btw, do you guys want Reynico, Solangelo, or for Nico to be alone?
