The World changed after this boy was born.
Everything changed with Muzan Kibutsuji.

Noone thought he would survive.
When he was born, he didnt breathe. He couldnt. His mind screamed but no sounds came out of his mouth. Everyone already gave up on him.

"His body is too weak. It would be a wonder if he was alive."

This wonder turned out to be true.
Just as he was being buried, he screamed. He was alive.
But his heart was still weak.
He had an illness. He was deathly sick. No doctors expected him to live past his twentys.
Every breath could have been his last.

His parents were noble people and hired the best doctors in the country. Noone found a cure.
It was a pointless search with no end.

Luck was on his side though. He made it to his late teens. It was a long and painful journey. But he lived. And that was the best thing that happened to him.

His body was too weak to go into sunlight. It felt like he burned beneath the warmth of the sun, so he could only watch from the insides of his room.

One day, he felt fine enough to go out in the city. It was night, so it was a perfect time.
He left the house without anyone noticing, since he wouldnt even be allowed to leave without doctors (and definitely not around this time).

He snuck away, going into the lights of the city.
The warmth of the places surrounds him. It felt incredibly comfortable.
Even though it was very late, the city was busy.
Drunk People running around to catch up to their group.
Shop Owners praising their products, even at this time.

He walked around a bit and stopped in front of a tea house. It looked very welcoming.
Slight yellow light coming out of the windows. He could hear the music playing inside.

Muzan just had enough money with him to purchase a cup of tea.
He wouldnt been able to buy anything else with that low amount, so he entered the shop.

He got welcomed with a comfy wodden table. It was colored in different shades of yellow and green. He sat down, looking at every piece of artwork in this building. Many wodden carvings and statues. Some interesting paintings of a girl holding a cup of tea, facing her back to the viewer.

He suddenly got carried out of his imagination by a woman who was starting to walk towards him.
She smiled at him gently.

"Welcome sir, I assume you'd like a cup of tea in this late hour?"

Muzan hesitated to answer, very slightly annoyed of the sudden flash back to reality.

"Yes, please. Thank you."

She again smiled at him and turned on her heels, going back to where she came from.

*Hm..what a beautiful lady, really..*
He thought to himself.
She had a very unique look. Her Hair was as Black as his. But her eyes-
Her eyes. They were as black as obsidian gems.
And still, he could see she was a kindhearted person. Her Eyes were shining in a golden grey colour.
What a beautiful sight indeed.

She came back in a moment with a plate of steaming tea. It was nicely decorated.

An eyecatcher was the bright red flower in the middle of it.

"Here you go!! I really hope you enjoy it"

She placed the plate in front of him, bowing a bit, before returning to the counter.
Muzan stared at the plate. The tea smelled very..good. Somewhat Relaxing.

His eyes fell on the flower again.
The red seemed oddly familiar..wasn't that nearly the exact same shade as his eyes?
The cornors of his lips rise, turning into a slight smile as he began to slurp the tea.

It was really good. Excellent tea.
Maybe he'd visit more often if he's allowed to. More like if his disease allowed him to.

As he took the last sip, his gaze met the red blossom again. He placed the cup on the plate again and carefully picked up the flower.
He didnt know what kind of flower it was, but its a beautiful kind.

"I see you like the flower?"

He got taken off guard as the lady suddenly appeared besides him.

"Yes. What is the Name of this kind?"

"Hmm..I believe its called Hinganbana or rather Red Spider Lily. Did you never see it before?"

"Its not usual for me to go out, so no."

"I see.."

The Woman paused for a moment.

"..I placed it there because your eyes are the same shade. They're very beautiful, sir. I have never seen such a red before."

"..Thank you, mrs"

"Ah! You can call me Tennen if you'd like."

She put on her grin again. Muzan was not used to such compliment. It was rather new to him for someone to like his eyes, let alone someone who has unique eyes on their own.
Maybe he actually could keep up a conversation with her.

"Pleased to meet you then, Tennen. My Name is Kibutsuji Muzan."

"The Pleasure is all mine!"
