His Majesty

After what was assumed to be an hour or two of feeding, petting and even attempting to ride a few horses and cattle, the tall and handsome servant looked at his golden watch that was beautifully hidden beneath his fine suit and nodded.

"Well, it seems to be that time."

You raised your head and met his eyes

"Lunch already?"

"Yes, yes. His Majesty believes that breakfast and lunch should be bunched together to fuel you for longer, that's how it seems to work for him anyhow. But he understands, I'm sure if you cannot eat too much."

You only nodded and lifted yourself from the pointy but comfy hay bed and followed the ginger man back into the slightly more familiar castle, aromas of hearty meats and luscious wines floating through the castle halls, only getting stronger to the dining room, which you reached and faced the gigantic closed doors covered in art that was carved directly into them. Charlie put a hand on the handle to the left door, looking at you to see when you were ready, seeing the nervousness in your posture and simply waiting. A moment later you took a deep breath in and slowly let it out, straightening up your posture and nodding. Charlie opened the door and you closed your eyes, your head tilted to the floor while you stepped in. Once you glanced up you saw a giant figure in that large and detailed chair. You then bring your eyes to his, heavy eyelids giving him an intimidating yet appealing expression and his burning red eyes against a deep and endless black sclera. He said nothing, he didn't smile, he seemed to be looking you over. He made the motion to sit with one of his large arms, pointed at its finger with curved black claws, connected to his large hands dawned in a beautiful, deep skin tone. You took a seat and looked him over, the windows giving this terrifying man a grace that seemed unrecognized in the shade. His black lion's mane-like hair that sat on his bulky shoulders was shining perfectly with the moonlight that was barely red now, becoming brighter in color and beam by the minute. This means the sun was rising, faster than the human worlds did, but that only gave him more beauty as seconds passed. His skin was following suit with his hair, highlighted perfectly, and enhancing the contour of his sculpted face, his facial hair thick and nearly blended into his mane, complimenting his face shape. His lips which sat comfortably between the hair on his upper lip and chin were smooth, perfectly shaped, and concealed his sharp teeth that when he spoke stuck out in obvious fashion, his voice unnaturally deep and full of vibrato that echoed through the dining room.

"So, I trust that Charlie treated you well during your tour."

It startled you but you cleared your throat and nodded

"Yes, he had. Very nice man."

The man silently agreed , taking a drink from the chalice you had seen multiple wine cellar servants carrying earlier that day.

"As expected. I trust Charlie to do above and beyond. As you should too, he means nothing but loyalty, but enough of him for now. I want to know more of you. Tell me anything you'd like."

"W...well....I don't...have very much to..say? I just...im a homeless person that dropped out of school and now I'm here."

The man gave a look of confusion, leaning a bit forward to get a look at your expressions

"Nothing more than that? No interesting upbringing, no broken bone stories, no why you dropped out of high school, no passions? Nothing?"

You supposed that you did give him very little detail. But to be truthful, your upbringing was only an orphanage after your mother and father couldn't support you anymore, so nothing special no. You only broke a bone once in your life from falling from a tree, plenty of people have done that. Now high school and passions were something you could definitely give details about but, did you really want to tell this man that you barely know any of this? No. Not really. So you simply nodded. He sat back against his chair and nodded in a way of contentment, clearly he wasn't going to press. This far it was silence and barely a conversation. He seemed like he was going to say something before food came out and he closed his mouth, thanking the servants that placed his food, and out of respect you had done the same. The foods where all rich and luxurious, much like breakfast was. Most of it seemed familiar but some of it was completely foreign. The longer you two sat and only are without a word, the louder the voice in your head had screamed "ask questions! You can't just sit here!" and in the loudest of the times your head had screamed at you, the man had glanced up from his plate as if he had heard it, raising a thick brow
