I slammed my hand on the table. I stop giving a shit of what my family has to say anymore. They all just talk down to me like I was a mistake, well newsflash: I didn't ask to be born.

My three aunts, grandmother, and siblings were sitting down. My siblings, of course, supported me to stand up to this family.

Y/n: "You know what!? I'm done with you. I am done with all of you. Except for my siblings, of course." I smiled at them and they gave me a look of reassurance. "I am so over of you criticizing me saying that I do this wrong, oh I don't do my school work, oh wait, I don't have a job, I can't pay for this, and I can't wear that." I said ranting.

Aunt #3: "Fine! You don't like how we treat you and since we're so horrible, you live on your own from now on! Since you have it all figured out, good luck without needing us."

Y/n: "No problem!" I smirked. "At least I have straight A's most of my high school life with a 3.8 gpa, and attending a private school at 18, where at least I'm not working as a bartender 24/7 who barely made it by at my age and had grandma help you out by getting you dinner when you didn't get a job when you could have!" I walked out of the living room with adrenaline and went into my room and locked the door.

I am not taking their shit anymore. They have always tried to put me down all because my life was somewhat better than theirs! What does it matter? Its been 20 fucking years!!! You know what? I am in fact moving out because luckily I saved up $25,000 just in case this happened.

I grabbed my three suitcases and started to organize them with clothes, shoes, and personal items. When I finished with that, I called a friend of mine and waited outside.

He finally showed up thirty minutes later.

Christian: "Hey, are you alright?" He asked wiping my tears.

Y/n: "Yeah, I'm fine. Just finally had the courage to stand up to my family. Oh, hold on I need to grab two more things." I said as he was putting my suitcases in his truck.

I grabbed my dog, Paris, a goldendoodle, and my cat, Batman, a tuxedo.

Christian: "Really?" He chuckled.

Y/n: "Yes, really. I'm not leaving my emotional support animals here."

Christian: "Okay, okay. Anyways.." We got into the truck and he started playing music.. "Do you have a place to go? Do you need to stay at mine until you find a place?"

Y/n: "No, that's why I called you. Do you think I could stay at yours? I don't want to be a burden."

Christian: "Really, its no worries. I don't mind the company." He smiled.

We drove for a while, letting my tear soak up into my skin.

52 minutes have passed

Christian: "We're here." He softly said and shook me lightly to wake me up.

Y/n: "Thanks, Christian. It really means a lot to me that you're willing to help." I yawned.

Christian: "Cmon Paris!" She jumped out of the truck, and he took a couple suitcases.

Y/n: "Batman, let's go." I said holding him in my arms and grabbing the last suitcase.

We walked into the house and it was so nice, like rich nice.

Christian: "You can stay in a spare bedroom if you'd like but if you need to you can sleep in my room."

Y/n: "Okay. So, where are your parents at?"
