It had been 5 weeks since the interview on Good Morning Alabama, and things had been interesting for Andre and the rest of the family. Andre and Caleb had received no less than a hundred threats of harm and death via mail and phone call to the point when they had to screen their calls and make sure they were safe to handle. They had received one pipe bomb via special delivery which was detonated by the bomb squad.

The store front had been vandalized and attempted to be broken into no less than a dozen times. Most of the offenders in those cases were quickly arrested as they were suffering from blisters from the pain inducers, bruises, and scrapes from the pushers, and were painted a neon orange by the screamers.

Tilly and Janice had started openly carrying multiple tazers each and had several more hidden around the store. There had been multiple attempts to bully and harass the ladies at the store and it never went well for the bullies.

Kyle was still flying back and forth to France almost every other week dealing with the drama of his 13-year-old daughter coming out as gay. He and his wife were supportive, but his wife's parents, who they lived with in Paris were resistant, to say the least. It was coming to the point that Kyle was going to have to relocate his family again if they couldn't come to some form of compromise, which was seeming less and less likely.

Celeste had had her ninth birthday and was enjoying the third grade. She was a year behind other students her age because of the circumstances of her early life, but she was making up ground every day. She continued to practice and learn minor spells. Her latest being vanish, it was meant to make a person invisible and silent for 6 to 8 seconds so that they could leave the stage after disappearing from plane sight. However, because Celeste was pushing the magic she could disappear for up to a minute at a time, which she was using to get into no end of trouble at the house. She was still forbidden from using magic at school but at home, she had free reign so long as she was careful not to hurt anyone or do any damage.

Conroy had been up and down with a series of flare-ups with his arthritis that lasted for weeks at a time, causing him to rely on his canes and on occasion a wheelchair. He was none too keen on that but at 96 years old it was to be expected.

Kris had spent 4 weeks in California with her parents and introduced them to her new reality-reinforcing potion. She had to increase the properties three times while she was there putting her on the Mark 34 of the potion, but she was able to talk with her parents coherently for the first time in almost 15 years. There were many tears and much time spent catching up. The new potions had to be administered every 6 hours to maintain potency, but they were working and her parents were able to use their gifts as seers to their full potential and live semi-normal lives. They were still staying at the medical facility they had been living at for the time being until they had caught up with current events and were able to sort out everything they had been through. Kris had returned to Birmingham a week before and was in daily contact with her parents and the medical facility staff.

"OK, Andre, I'm going to be moving out." Said, Kyle.

"What's going on brother, are you ok?" asked Caleb.

"No. My in-laws refuse to accept my and my wife's decision to let our daughter be openly gay, they are making ridiculous demands and we're done. I'm looking for rental properties in Pinson, just a little 2-bedroom apartment will be fine as we'll most likely be hanging out here regularly. But as soon as I get a place, they are moving back to the States and we're calling our relationship with her parents done, for the time being at least." Replied Kyle.

"I'm sorry to hear that. We had been talking about starting to build a guest house out on the property. We could expedite that and make it larger to handle you and your family." Said Andre.
