A couple of weeks later, things had calmed down a bit. Elisa was cutting up some herbs in front of her tent. "How are you holdin' up?" Elisa looks up at Arthur. "I'm alright. Just making sure we're stocked up on tonics," Arthur nods. "Need any help?" He asks. "Arthur, the last time you helped me make tonics, you nearly cut your finger off," Arthur laughs. "Oh, come on. I was 23 when that happened," Elisa shakes her head. "I was still a teen and could do it better than you. Without hurting myself," Arthur laughs. "Okay, I get your point," Hosea walked over to the two of them. "What do you two think about the place?" He looked between the two. "It's nice, Hosea. Very hidden, nice scenery," Elisa tells him. He nods. "Well, I heard some of the guys are already in Valentine. Javier, Charles, and Bill. Reverend Swanson has something cooked up. And Elisa, dear, take Uncle into town and get some supplies," He hands her a list. Elisa grabs it. She glances at it before placing it in her satchel. "What about you?" Arthur asks Hosea. "I'm gunna go read a book," Arthur chuckles as Elisa finishes up with the herbs.

Arthur walks over to his horse as Elisa walks over to a sleeping Uncle. Elisa stares at the man before kicking his leg. "Hey! I-I was sleepin'!" He states as he gets to his feet. "You should be workin', Old Man," "I got lumbago," He whines. "That is not a real disease, you imbecile. Come on. We gotta go into town and get some supplies," Elisa gestures towards the wagon next to them. "Hey," Elisa turns around to find Mary-Beth, Tilly, and Karen. "If you're taking the old man into town, can we come?" Tilly asks. "Won't Grimshaw miss you?" Elisa asks. "Won't Grimshaw miss us? You think you're the only woman who can come and go as she pleases?" "Karen, don't start," Mary-Beth begs the blonde. Elisa chuckles. "Your demeanor doesn't scare me, Blondie. Fine. Get on, ladies," Elisa gestures towards the wagon. Uncle gets in front as the women get in the back. Elisa whistles for Scathere. He comes trotting up to her. She feeds him an apple. "Follow closely, boy," She hops in the driver's seat. "Alright, let's head out,"

The girls in the back of the wagon were singing as they pulled into Valentine. "Oh, that smell," Tilly states. "Or is that Uncle?" Karen retorted. "Hey!" Uncle exclaims, laughing slightly. Elisa stopped the wagon near the stables. "Any self respecting maniac would let the women do all the hard work," Uncle states. Elisa rolls her eyes as the three women go off to the saloon. Elisa and Uncle walk towards the general store. "So, is that how you see yourself? A maniac?" Uncle chuckles. "Hey, they used to call me the One Shot kid," Elisa laughs a little. "I'm not gunna ask why," Uncle turns to her. "How did you get to be so mean?" Uncle asks. "I'm not mean. It's just easy to pick on you," Elisa tells him. Uncle hums before the two of them walk into the general store. "You should be nicer to me," "Why's that?" Elisa asks as she picks up some oatcakes for Scathere. "I'm the one who taught you–" "What, exactly? How to drink all day?" He glares at her. "Hey, when you need a break, I help you relax," Elisa rolls her eyes. She places the oatcakes on the counter, giving some money to the clerk. "Hope to see ya again," The clerk says as they leave the store.

Elisa and Uncle sit on the bench at the general store until Mary-Beth comes up to Elisa. "I snuck into this rich guy's house. I pretended to be a house worker," She explains a potential job. "Yeah, I know it. Scarlett Meadows," Elisa nods. "We can check it out, see if it's worth anything," Elisa tells her. "Where are the other two?" Elisa asks the brunette. "Um.. last I saw they were both heading to the hotel," Elisa and Uncle stand. "Oh, look there's Tilly!" Across the way was Tilly being harassed by a tall bearded man. "Oh.. that doesn't look ideal," "Stay here," Elisa states, heading over to the two.

Elisa makes it over to them. "Get the hell out of here," The tall man looks to the native woman. "This is none of your business," "Did I stutter? I said, get the hell out of here," He towers over the 5' woman. "I don't take orders from you, redskin," Elisa growls under her breath. Elisa knees his groin, making him double over. She grabs his arm, twisting it behind his back. "I'll say this again, get your Foreman piece of shit out of this town. Don't talk to Tilly, don't even think about her. And if you do... I'll make sure you'll eat your own dick," The man stumbled away from the two women. "This isn't over Tilly Jackson!" He calls as he runs away. Tilly stares at Elisa. "That was amazing," Tilly says. Elisa smiles at her. "You alright?" She nods. "Come on, let's get on with the others,"
