My Heart?

"Nikolai please wake up!" Sigma cried

Nikolai slowly opened his eyes as sigma kept tapping on his arm

"Sigma? Where am I? Where's fyodor? why am I at a hospital?" Nikolai started panicking

"Nikolai! i'm so glad you're okay" Sigma smiled while holding his hand

"What happened? I need to find fyodor now!"

Sigma's smile slowly faded
"You don't remember..."

"Remember what?"

"Fyodor.. he.." Sigma sat down on a stool with tears in his eyes

"what did he do? is he okay? where is he? please sigma I have to see him!" Nikolai begged

"You know that game you set up in the prison? Dazai lost, well he injured his head which affected his brain and doctor's said he no longer had any brain activity after multiple tests but fyodor wouldn't believe it"

"who cares about dazai? what happened to fyodor?"
nikolai tried sitting up

"I wouldn't try to move a lot right now nikolai, you're still healing" Sigma pointed at his chest

Nikolai looked at his chest and saw stitches over his heart

"Why do I have this?" Nikolai looked at Sigma

"Fyodor.. he went to the place where they run tests on dazai, he looked desperate when he asked me for help, it's like they were in love? He mentioned how dazai was the only one on his level and can't have him die now"

Nikolai starts crying

"nikolai what's wrong, do you need water? Listen I think it's better off for me not to tell you especially at your current state"

"I remember." he slowly smiled

"Remember what?" Sigma looked afraid

"Fyodor was gonna use his ability on dazai but I wanted to kill dazai first. I couldn't bare to see fyodor lose the game. So I thought I could help.."

"Nikolai what happened in there?" Sigma got up from his seat

"I used my ability to enter the room where dazai was in and I was going to kill him.. Fyodor knocked out the doctors and other staff as he opened the door to find me using my ability to take dazai's heart"

"But why were you doing that? I thought you said they have to die by whatever interferes them! Not by you."
Sigma started raising his voice

"I thought it would make more things exciting, I just didn't want to see them together anymore, Dazai was already a goner I just wanted to be over with this, a step closer to freedom but now my goals are feeling different.."

"Why did fyodor do it?" Sigma asked

"Fyodor saw me disconnect the machine keeping dazai alive. He saw me taking his heart out. He walked up to me without any emotion, before I knew it my body felt like I got stabbed over 20 times, I tried using my ability before any deep wounds but.."

"Nikolai. What did he do?"

"He broke my heart."
