"Where here!" A sign said Welcome to Goldcrest "So Goldcrest?" "Yes, this is my hometown. I miss this place, sweetpea." We got to the main area of the town we got to the left into a more private-looking cabin rusty and probably rotting.
"I know it looks rusted and old she needs just a little bit of help to look brand new again!" Dad exclaimed. "You live in a cabin.?" as he parked the car. "Yes, the best of the cabin." I got outside of the car. "The smell of fresh air and nature," Dad said proudly "Smells like trees and wet dogs" He looked at me and smiled "Wet dogs? Are you sure? All I smell is home" "Yeah whatever Dad" I rolled my eyes. He just laughed "Let's get going then miss angry pants"
he opened the door to the cabin the floor board made a sound yup this place is very old. "Sweetpea can you get our stuff on the car and put them inside." "Alright Dad" I opened the hatch of the car and started to bring our stuff inside.
"We are going to the store for some materials and new paint" he patted my back "and you can pick out the color of your room" "Really Dad?" "Yeah it's your room"
