Normani~

"Okay... How do I look?" Normani turned to face Chance and Akira who had been staying over the weekend to study with one another.

"Like a million bucks."

"Like a hot mom." Chance started giggling and Akira playfully rolled her eyes. Normani shook her head and made sure she looked okay in the mirror. It will be her first time out in months, that wasn't a terrible date, and she wanted to make sure she looked her best. Even though it was just a party, she wanted to look good for anyone that might be interested, including her "girlfriend".

"I'll take it

"I'll take it." Normani smiled at herself in the mirror. She was in her 30s but still felt and looked young enough to be in her 20s. She didn't really dress up often so when she did, she got a reminder of just how good she looked. Her body was one to die for and she figured she may as well show it off while she still has it.

After awhile the doorbell was ringing and Normani walked over to answer it. She was met with Megan and literally gasped over seeing her. Megan looked at Normani with concern, "what's wrong?"

"You look beautiful."

Megan found herself blushing at Normani's comment, "thank you

Megan found herself blushing at Normani's comment, "thank you. You look gorgeous yourself."

"Thank you." Normani smiled.

"I bought a gift... Wasn't really sure what exactly to get so I just got a bottle of champagne and a card."

Normani shook her head, "you didn't have to get a gift but it is perfect... She loves drinking."

Megan laughed a little, still nervous because of how good Normani looked in her dress. She looks good on a regular basis but right now she was absolutely stunning. It was something about Normani that just made her look effortlessly beautiful on any occasion. She could've shown up in jeans and a t-shirt and it would've looked amazing on her.

"Should we go?"

"Oh yes! Sorry."

Normani smiled, "you're good." She grabbed her clutch and went back into the living room where the girls were. "Megan and I are leaving now. I sent money for food to your Apple Pay and the number to the venue in case of emergency is on the counter."
