Images filled my mind from the horrific event I had witnessed on the farm as my eyes were tightly shut as my body was resting in an unfamiliar bed.

Go.

Back.

To.

Everyone I loved was died and now I had live with it for the rest of my life.

Tusking and turning underneath the bedsheets, dressed out of blood stained dress and in a floating white nightgown.

I finally awake from my slumber dripping in sweat and shrivelling out in fear at the unfamiliar surroundings.

I was in a hut in a comfy bed, inside of a clean guest room.

Which hasn't been used not since I arrived, i guessed.

A young male dressed in a lace white shirt, brown renaissance pants and black paladin boots, he had tawny skin and thick dark brown hair came running to my aid.

"What's the matter Miss?" His voice filled with concern as he set beside me on the bed. I couldn't find the words to respond, instead I broke down and cried without trying to stop.

The young man doesn't speak another word. He pulled me into a hug and softly rub my back, making small circles slowly up and down my spine.

"Thank you" I whimpered in a whisper tone, heavily sniffing through my nostrils. "Your welcome, are you feeling better now?"

I nodded feeling serene, lifting my red auburn out of my face. "Yes I feel a lot better now" the young man beamed "good, how was your rest?"

"Well it was better than being in that barn" I wholeheartedly joked, opening my mouth to loudly yawn. "What is your name?"

He stretched out his hand and politely introduced himself. "Dominic, Dominic Reyes. What's yours?"

I shook his hand without any hesitation. "Esmeralda, Esme Rolfe. It's nice to meet you Dominic"

He blushed biting on his lower lip. "You too Emse" Dominic folded his arms and raised a suspicious brow. "If you don't mind me asking what were you doing in the barn?"

My answer was cut short when a man and his daughter who seem be in her teens stormed into the guest room flushed and out of breath.

"Father, Arianna this is Esme" Dominic informed the pair to calm the mood. "Hello" I said waving at the two sitting up in bed.

The father and daughter duo chorused "hello"
"Esme this is my father Felix and my sister Arianna"

Arianna stood silently bitting her nails.

Felix pulled up a stool nearby the door and sat upon it folding his arms. "So Esme, what bring you Rottingdean?"
