As she was walking down the hall, a letter fell to her knees. She asked herself 'What is this now?', but she didn't know a thing about it. As she tried to open the letter, a heavy voice screamed at her 'When will you just keep yourself busy with your own stuff?', said her dad. She turned around and stared at him. She had never seen him being this aggressive. That night couldn't she sleep. She had to know what the letter was about. When her parents finally both fell asleep, could she go and take that letter. And that's also what she did. As she opened the letter she tripped and woke up her mom. Her mom ran to the room and stared at her deeply into her blue eyes. She couldn't ground her because her dad was sleeping but she promised to ground her the next morning. As the night went on, Clara couldn't stop thinking about this letter. She had a plan for the next morning. She would wake up early, go get the letter, hide it in her backpack and then go to school. She thought it would work but the next morning as she was hiding the letter in her backpack, her mother was already looking at the from the door. She coughed and Carla looked at her with chills in her eyes. She was scared. Her mom was really strict and she knew she could get grounded for a month for not listening to her mother. That's exactly what her mother did. Carla was grounded for a month. That meant no phone, no tv, no desert and no sleepovers. Carla regretted not listening to her mother but then she thought about one thing. Her mother didn't take the letter back from her backpack. She quietly unzipped her backpack and she took the letter. She was happy it was already opened because it make s a lot of noise to open it. When she saw what was on the letter, she stared at it in shock and she couldn't believe what she was reading.
