Baby Face and Blue Eyes

After a long day of work, I make my way to Danny's bar for an Irish car bomb. This has been my routine since I got my new job as an accountant. I sit at my usual spot at the bar near the taps, placing my bag on the seat next to me

"The usual?" the bartender asks

"You already know" I reply

"Coming right up"

"Thank you Aiden"

He turns around and makes me my drink

"Is someone sitting here?" A voice asks

"Oh sorry, no go ahead" I say, moving my bag to the seat on the other side of me

"Thank you"

Aiden turns back around and places my drink in front of me

"Thanks"

He gives me a nod before acknowledging the man next to me

"Niall, I wasn't expecting to see you today"

The name sounded familiar but I shrugged it off

"I know but I was in the area so I thought I would stop by"

"I'm glad you did. We are slow today"

I look over at Niall trying to analyze his face. Aiden notices and taps the bar table

"You want the usual?"

"Yes thank you"

Niall smiles then looks over at me. I quickly look away and look down at my drink before taking a sip

"Irish car bomb. Classic"

Is he talking to me?

I look around me before looking at Niall

"Oh, it's my favorite"

Aiden sets Niall's drink down then raises his eyebrows at me before walking away

"Guinness?" I say under my breath

"What was that?"

"Oh nothing"

He squints his eyes at me then takes a sip of his drink

"You come here often?" Niall asks

"Yeah pretty much everyday"

"You have one of those everyday?!"

"Yes, what is the matter with that, Niall," I say, playfully rolling my eyes

"You think you're funny"

"Thank you for noticing"

"You're something else"

Aiden walks over and uses the tap

"Can you explain to your friend, Niall, here that my sense of humor is fantastic"

Niall looks at Aiden and smirks

"I would leave while you still can," Aiden says, before walking away

"Thanks for having my back"

Niall chuckles then looks back at me

"He can be a real prune sometimes"

We laugh together as Aiden walks back over

"You better not be having fun without me"

"Your friend is a real catch, Aiden"

"Aw thank you Niall. You're so sweet" I say sarcastically while finishing my drink "Do you mind closing that window?"

"Why? Niall likes to watch the sunset"

"Of course he does" I say under my breath "I should get going"

"Another one before you go?"

"No thanks, Aiden, I've got to get home and feed the cats"

"Leaving so soon?" Niall comments

"I have work tomorrow unlike other people" I say while grabbing my bag off the chair next to me

"Same time tomorrow?" Aiden assures

"You know it"

"So have you know, I work tomorrow also"

"Sure, Niall"

As I head towards the door, Niall yells out "I never got your name"

"Heaven, don't wear it out!" I exclaim, winking at him before exiting

Niall's POV
I turn back around at the bar

"She has no idea does she"

"Clueless. She only listens to Bob Marley and The Beatles...on cassette"

"Wow she really is something else"

"That's why I love her, she's outdated"

"She's a cat lover?"

"She hates them. She only says that as an excuse to leave"

I chuckle at the thought of her wittiness

That's a first

I space out thinking about the way she smelled, the way she talked, the way she smiled, her wittiness. The sunset from the window lighting her up. Making her light brown hair golden, her fair skin glow, her rosy cheeks stand out. When she walked out it was almost as if the light followed behind her like an angel

"Niall?"

I snap out of my trance

"Yes, sorry what we're you saying?"

"Good luck on tour. Aren't you leaving in a few days"

"Yeah tomorrow. I should actually head out"

"Alrighty. Have a good night lad"

"Cheers"

I pay then get up from the bar and walk home

Heavens POV
When I get home, I can't stop thinking about Niall. The way he smiled, his baby face, his blue eyes, his blonde hair. He is adorable. I hope to run into him again.
