As I gently pulled my saxophone off the shelf, carefully tucked paper airplane into my case. I strategically waited for everyone to get out of the storage room, and when they were all gone I looked around the room for case number 106. I found it behind another case. I slowly popped both of the tabs open and peered inside. The previous plane I had left in the case was gone, so I knew he had gotten it. I looked over the plane to make sure it wasn't damaged, and one last time read its' content. When everything looked to be fine I placed it in the spot that I usually put them in.
For about a month I had been putting a paper airplane that says something cute in it, in my crush's saxophone case. Every time I went to put a new one in the last one was gone.

I did as I usually do at the beginning of band, put a paper airplane in Eric's case. When I opened up his case, I saw that there was a paper airplane in the same spot I usually put mine. On the wing it read, 'To: My Secret Admirer'. I picked it up and stuffed it in my case. I placed the plane I made in the same spot that I regularly put it in. I went to band as usual and took it out when I went to 7th hour. I kept it with me until the final bell rang. As the hallways flooded with kids I got my bag and went into the girls' bathroom.

I really admirer the little paper airplanes you give to me everyday. Now, you leave them after lunch so you could only be in the 9th or 10th grade. You have to know me in some way, be it Instagram, Snapchat, or just in real life... you know me. I have not figured it out yet but as you read this I am aimlessly drifting over my thoughts and who I'm friends with in 9th or 10th grade.

As I read over the words over and over again I realized that I had only one choice if I really didn't want him to know it was me. I had to stop sending the planes.
