If Ferid had a theme song or whatever, it would either be Luxurious, Fancy Toys, or For Your Entertainment

A knock on Y/n's door woke her up. She stretched in her bed, some of her bones cracking in her back. Y/n hummed, trying to be as loud as her voice would let her be in the morning.

Y/n heard a muffled laugh from the other side of the door, "I thought you were never going to wake up," the voice, who Y/n recognized almost immediately as Ferid, said, "Are you decent, doll? Can I come in?"

Y/n took her time thinking over Ferid's words, "Yeah," she answered simply.

The door creaked open to reveal the noble, already dressed and everything. He snickered at the sight of Y/n still half asleep in bed. Ferid walked over to where Y/n laid before sitting down on the edge of the bed, leaning back on his arms while he had one leg crossed over the other.

Y/n turned over on her side, scooting closer to Ferid while hiding half of her face in a pillow.

"What time is it?" Y/n's voice was dry and her eyes were still closed.

"About seven," Ferid chuckled, running his hand through Y/n's soft hair, "Not a morning person, hmm?"

Y/n grumbled, only confirming Ferid's assumptions.

"Seven's too early..." Y/n voiced her opinion, "Why are you even up?"

"Well, I am the seventh progenitor, N/n," Ferid reminded, "I do have many responsibilities in a day... but also vampires don't need nearly as much sleep as humans do."

This answer only fueled more questions from Y/n.

"...Does answering questions cost blood?"

Ferid shrugged his shoulders with a careless grin, "I'll give you a free pass today. Normally more than fifteen questions and I'll ask for a little drink."

"Ah..." Y/n paused before sitting up a bit more, "Well, what does a progenitor do in a day?"

"Hmmm... Well, I'm not sure what my acquaintances do in their day, like the thirteenth progenitor, Crowley, but I can tell you about my day, and perhaps the third progenitor, Krul's, day."

"Okay."

"...Thats what my day is primarily about," Ferid sighed.

"No offense," Y/n held back a giggle, "Your kind of boring."

Ferid 'hmphed' playfully, crossing his arms over his chest, "Some offense taken."

Y/n couldn't stop the laughter that escaped her, further on earning chuckling from the vampire as he watched Y/n hold her sides from laughing as she laid on her side curled up on the bed.

To Y/n, it felt so good to laugh. It felt good to have this little foolish moment. She didn't feel alone in this world. She felt loved, even if it was fake. Even if her only purpose was to feed the vampire, if she had died in the next minute, she wouldn't have been upset about it.

She felt like a teenager for once.

"Do you always have this much fun every morning?" Y/n asked, a few soft giggles left in her voice.

"No, not normally," Ferid sighed with a smile, running a hand through the front of his silvery hair before he looked back to Y/n, "Anyway, are you hungry?"

"Not really... I'm not really a morning person," Y/n shrugged.

"Oh? And what does 'not a morning person' mean?"

"I dunno," Y/n looked up at the ceiling, taking it into detail, "I'm not really hungry or anything in the mornings."

"You are one of the most interesting humans I have ever met..." Ferid mumbled under his breath.

"Hey! I heard that!" Y/n laughed again, "What do you mean by interesting?"

"Strange, weird, unique," Ferid flicked Y/n on the nose with his pointer finger gently.

"Rude," Y/n huffed between chortles, rubbing her nose.

A comfortable silence fell over them for a while before Y/n resumed a few more questions.

"I have a question, but you don't have to answer if you don't feel comfortable..."

Ferid hummed, a sarcastic concerned grin adorned his facial features, "Alright."

"How old are you?"

Ferid was silent for a little while, a pause in the air that became more awkward with every passing second, "Well..." He thought about it, "I don't remember."

"You've never had a birthday? Not once?"

"Well of course I have had a birthday before... I was human once, dear," Ferid tilted his head to the side briefly as he thought about it, "Albeit that was a very long time ago..."

"How long is long?"

"Roughly twelve-hundred years, give or take a few decades."

"Oh."

Ferid laughed, "How old did you think I was? At least all of the progenitors are over fifty years old."

"I don't know!" Y/n exclaimed, "Most of you look like your twenty-one!"

The noble's snickering quieted down as he returned a joke of a question to Y/n in a flirtatious tone, "Are you staying I'm possibly in your interest range?"

Ferid's laughter only returned as he watched Y/n's face turn cherry red, and the girl stuttered over her words.

"I- no- what?!"

Ferid only grinned as he patted Y/n's leg, "Take a joke, my dear," he then stood up from the bed, "Anyway, you should get dressed. I want to introduce you to people and make sure you do know your way around my mansion," Ferid was at the door by this point.

But then he paused in the doorway, turning to look at Y/n one final time.

"Of course, unless you'd like me to stay and help you dress."

Y/n really debated throwing a pillow at his face.
