. undeserved meltdown .

Elliot's POV

I made myself comfortable on Mike's desk as the three finally knocked. Mike looked up from his paperwork.

"Who is it?"

"It's Emma, Ray, and Norman," Norman called out. Mike got up and opened the door, inviting the three in for a seat. They sat down, hands clenched in their laps as I looked at the documents he was writing on.

"We-" Emma got cut off.

"I was actually about to go look for you. Oh, make sure to relay this message to Don, Gilda, and Phil for me."

"Uh-"

"I was thinking about having the six of you join me in my business party tomorrow. I know it's very sudden, but my partners are all fascinated to know more about you."

Oh? This would be helpful.

"You'd make a lot of important business connection's and can see what life over here looks like."

"But-" Emma got cut off again by both Ray and Norman. I gotta say, I feel bad for her.

"We'd love to," the two boys said in unison. Mike smiled and clapped his hands.

"Perfect! I'll put the six of you down on the guest list. Make sure to be on your best behavior."

"Of course," Ray said, almost like he was about to scoff. I jumped off the desk and paced around, staring at the degrees that hung around the room out of boredom. They better get to the main point of this whole meeting or else-

"Now you three run along. I have a lot to plan for the party!"

What?

Suddenly the four of us were outside of the now closed door.

Well, that was...

Something?

"E-Emma?" Norman hesitantly called out. I looked over and she had a smile on her face. What's so wrong about a smile?

"Let's get you back to your room," Ray rushed out, pushing her through the halls. Norman sighed and followed them, grabbing Don, Gilda, and Phil along the way. The three of the newcomers looked at the trio awkwardly. Can't blame them. They were at each others neck— at least Emma and Ray were— just an hour ago.

"Okay," Ray breathed out as they got into the privacy of Emma's room. Norman clicked the door shut and that's when he'll broke loose.

From Emma at least.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Emma screamed, punching her pillow. Everyone, including me, backed the hell up. Damn, girlie SNAPPED!

We all stood there and waited it out. Not like anyone could do anything.

Ray and Norman?

She just fought with them an hour ago.

Don and Gilda?

They just saw the last half of the insanity that went down.

Phil?

He-

Wait, where is Phil?!

"Phil?!" I panicked. I looked around the other four for him, but saw nothing. I can't fucking believe that Tira's love for that kid rubbed off on me.

"Emma, what's wrong?" My head snapped over to see Phil standing right next to a pillow screaming, pillow punching, feet kicking Emma. All that shit stopped and it was quiet.

"He didn't listen," Emma groaned out. Phil sighed and shook his head. What kid does that? I looked at the rest of them and they seemed just as shocked and confused as I was.

Well, I guess not him either.

"Think of it as a happy little accident!" Phil chirped.

"Was that Bob Ross?" I asked flabbergasted. There's no way that wasn't.

"What did you call us for?" Don asked tentatively. Norman and Ray turned towards him as Emma continued to have a crisis and Phil giving her random quotes from pop culture.

"Mike, he wants us to go to a business party with him," Ray explained.

"All of us?" Gilda asked.

"No, just us six kids," Norman said.

"Well, when is it?" Don asked.

"Tomorrow."
