My life was about to change forever. Though with this new development, I knew I had to make some decisions. If I was to pursue music as I always dreamed... I wouldn't have time to be a college student. Again, another one of my dreams.

Makayla and I made our way to the car. "Life is changing forever you know." Said, Makayla.

"I know." I smile. "But for the better. Life will get better and have more purpose." I continued.

Makayla just smiled at me knowing I'm finally going to be realizing my dreams. Makayla was nothing but happy for me. As we returned home, we were greeted by my mother. Which is when reality hits me once more. She won't allow this.

She doesn't believe in taking chances on a career like what I've always dreamed of. She believes that Hollywood dreams, singing dreams, and musician dreams, are nothing but pipe dreams.

They're viewed by her as something that only fools chase. Unless they have undoubtable talent and sound like Christina Aguilera or Adele. Otherwise, why try to swim as a fish in a pool of large sharks? Why try when there's no chance that you, one person, are that one in one million?

Instead of telling my mother right away about what is happening with Republica Records... I decided to just go straight to my room. To say I was tired after a fun night out.

Makayla follows suit, doing the same. Except for going to her own bedroom. Makayla's bedroom is in the basement. Whilst my bedroom was on the second floor of the house.

It wasn't necessarily a lie that the two of us are tired. We both had a long and fun night. Although I think that Makayla should have gotten onto the mic and did California Gurls herself. It's alright though, because it got the attention of the right people at the end of the day. I can start following my dream maybe soon, making music and making people relate to it. Making people smile.

Once I reached my room, I made my way to my window opening it. Then turning on my fan blowing it facing away from the window. To spread the fresh air into the room. My bedroom was set up with my bed against the wall, facing the window on the opposing wall.

Then my desk in front of that window. On the left of my bed is my fireplace, and on the right of my bed is my bookshelf. My television is on top of my fireplace counter. Which was a faux marble countertop. When my father came across and had the idea, I didn't expect it to look nice. Surprisingly it does.

The wall behind my bookshelf was painted pink with a window dead center of the wall. Pictures of myself for affirmations near my bed in the corner. Then on the wall across from my bed, was a mural. Painted with a tree with pink fluffy leaves.

The leaves let off white pollen and have a mystical whitish-grey background. A light salmon pink raying from behind the tree like an ominous glow. I'm a huge fan of mystics and magic and fantasy. The mural really shows my taste in portraits. That it could be some faraway land. Some forgotten magical earth-saving magical tree.

Not quite yet ready to go to bed, I sat down on my bed opening my laptop. Beginning my nightly research into whatever subject fit my mood for the night. Tonight's vibe was to watch ancient Egyptian documentaries. To learn about the adventures of the archeologists trying to discover the unfound tomb of Queen Cleopatra.

Personally, I had mixed feelings about if I wanted them to find Cleopatra's tomb. The spirit of Queen Cleopatra is at rest where it is. Then the queen's soul will no longer be resting once it is disturbed by archeologists. Of course, most archeologists don't have negative intentions in trying to find the tomb. Only intentions to preserve the treasures of Queen Cleopatra and the Pharoah family.
