Catching feelings

As I sit down underneath a tree near a cliff that has the beautiful view of Adventure Bay beach,I look over at the other pups as they all play with an invention Rocky made.I would be over there but honestly I just don't have the energy today, I stayed up late with that last mission and haven't been sleeping properly. I slowly drifted off to sleep while catching one last glimpse of the astonishing sunset before fully blacking out into a deep sleep.

After another successful mission with Ryder, we head back to the lookout where the gang greet us back with hugs and yips. I realise Marshall isn't here and start wondering where he is.
"Hey Skye? Have you seen Marshall anywhere?" I asked.
"Oh yeah! Last I saw him he was heading over to that cliff over there!" She replied, pointing out to a cliff with a tree on the edge. I could just make out the silhouette of a laying down pup.
After thanking Skye, I head over to him. As I got closer my heart would beat faster and faster. I didn't Understand why but every time I had him in my mind my heart would race.
When I reached him, he was sound asleep with a bit of drool from his mouth.
"Marshall?? You good bud?" I asked, shaking him.

"Huh? What's going on? Oh.. hey Chase" Marshall awakened and looked at me with his sweet,innocent ocean blue eyes.

I was having the best dream ever. I was on the beach with chase playing a good game of Frisbee. We played until sun went down and walked back to the Look out. I was thinking of him until he stopped walking.
"Chase? Hey, you ok?" I asked with concern in my voice.
"Marshall.. Do you like me?" He replied.
I could feel my face burn and my heart race.
"W-What? Of course I don't! Your my best friend!"
I fumed. Suddenly the ground started shaking and I heart a soft voice.
"Marshall?? You good bud?"
My heavy eyes slowly opened to see chase standing over me with worry is his eyes. His sweet, caramel brown eyes.
"Oh, hey Chase. How was the mission?" I yawned as I stood up and stretched my limbs.
"Yeah it was fine, gladly no one was brutally injured or anything" He replied back with a sheepish smile.
