Chapter 5: Living with the enemy

"Goodmorning people, I would like you to meet Adrianne Vanity Sevilla. She is the owner of Eclipse, and she will be working here for the mean time." Everyone clapped their hands as they look at me.

"Please take care of me from now on." Some the familiar faces gave me a 'what-is-she-doing-here look, while others smile at me.

"May boyfriend ka na ba?" I see a cute man ask me. Sino ba to? Another unfamiliar face.

"Mr. Cinco, I think what you are asking is quite unrelated." Sasagot na sana ako, pero si Wess ang naunang sumagot. Ewan ko pero bakit siya galit?

"People, Ms. Sevilla will be working directly to me. She will be in my care. Hindi siya maaasign sa design department so you have no chance on asking her out." Everyone became speechless. Seems like their boss is mad.

"Meeting ajourned. Gian, pakihatid si miss Sevilla sa office niya."

"Yes sir." Nauna nang lumabas ai Wess.

"Hi ma'am. Kumusta po? Ang tagal na po pala nating hindi nagkitakita." Gian is close to me noong nagtratrabaho pa ako dito.

"Hi Gian."

"Nagkabalikan na po kayo ni sir?"

"What? Nagkabalikan? No no, wala namang dapat balikan, hindi pa rin ba clear sa inyo na wala naman kaming relasyon ni Wess?"

"Akala po kasi ng lahat naging kayo ni sir Wess after siyang iwan ni mam Mikaella, and since bumalik na po si mam Mikaella, hiniwalayan na rin kayo ni sir."

"All of that are just false accusation Gian. Wala kaming naging relasyon ni Wess. We never had, kahit noon. I came back as the president of another bussiness and to help Wess." Tumango tango naman si Gian. I don't know if he understand or if he believes me. It doesn't matter anyway.

"Andito na po pala tayo mam." Nagulat ako nang makita ko yung office.

"Its the CEO office."

"Yes mam. Kahapon po, ipinaayos ni sir Wess yung isang part ng CEO office. Dito raw po kasi mag-oopisina yung president/designer ng Eclipse. No one knows na kayo po pala iyon."

"I can't work here." Pabulong kong nasabi.

"And why not?" Namutla ako nang makita ko si Wess na papasok na ng office niya.

"I can't work next to you Wess. We always clash. Sa tingin mo ba makakapagdesign ako ng maayos kung nasa malapit ka lang?" I heard Gian gasp.

"Please leave Gian. And don't want anyone to know that we are fighting, or else I'll have to fire you." Mukha namang takot si Gian na umalis.

"What the hell is your problem Wess? Bakit ba kasi dito ang office ko? Pwede naman ako sa labas, but damn you dito pa talaga. Dito sa loob din ng office mo."

"Diba pangarap mo to? Working beside me?"

"Dreams don't come true. Come on Wess, sa labas na lang ako magtratrabaho. Ano na lang sa tingin mo ang maiisip ng mga employees mo kung malalaman nilang dito ako nagtratrabaho. Mamaya nagkaroon pa ng tsismis."

"You will work here Ianne! Sa loob ng office ko! Hindi sa labas, hindi sa kung saan man. You will work for me, with me, to me. No buts, no ifs, no alibis."

"Ano bang problema mo??!!"

Nagulat ako nang lumapit siya sa akin. He is so close. Paatras naman ako ng paatras. What the hell?! Fear crept through me when I felt the cold wall behind me. He is still coming near. Wess bend down, our nose touching. Itutulak ko na sana siya nang maabot niya yung kamay ko. He used his hand to pin my arms, and used his other arms to pull my body towards him.
