Rain Lucas, an 18-year-old high school student with a rough past, woke up to the sound of her mothers heavy breathing. It was always the same: she'd come home drunk, and she'd be angry at her for something she hadn't done. She couldn't take it anymore. Without a second thought, she grabbed her worn-out backpack, stuffed a few essentials inside, and quietly slipped out of the house, leaving the door ajar in case she needed to come back. The cool night air was refreshing against her skin, and she breathed a sigh of relief as she began to run, her feet pounding against the pavement. She didn't know where she was going; she just needed to get away. Eventually, she found herself at a hotel with a bar, deciding she needed a drink. She heads to the bar, taking a seat on one of the stools, her long, wet hair clinging to her back. The bartender, a middle-aged man with a kind smile, notices her and walks over. "What can I get for you, sweetheart?" he asks gently. Rain hesitates for a moment, then finally says, "Whiskey, please. Neat." The bartender nods and pours her a glass, setting it in front of her. As she takes a sip of her drink, she glances around the bar, her eyes landing on a beautiful woman with long, wavy brown hair and bright gray eyes. The woman is sitting at a table in the corner, sipping a martini and looking rather bored. Rain can't help but feel drawn to her. She finishes her whiskey and walks over to the woman's table, leaning against it casually. "Hey, beautiful," she says, her voice a little unsteady. The woman looks up, surprised, registering on her features. "Um, hi," she replies. "I just thought you looked... I dunno, interesting." The woman seems amused by Rain's attempt to flirt. "Well, thank you," she says, her voice smooth as silk. "I'm Alice. And you are?" Rain hesitates for a moment, then decides to be honest. "Rain. Rain Lucas." Alice's eyebrows raise slightly. "Lucas?" she says, her voice tinged with curiosity. "That's an interesting name." Rain chuckles and counts on Alice's flattery to keep her interested. "Oh, you know, just another orphan looking for a place to belong," she says, making a joke of it. Alice's expression softens and she reaches out to take Rain's hand in hers. "You don't have to be alone, you know," she says gently. "I could... show you what that means." Rain feels a shiver run down her spine at Alice's words. It's not just the promise of comfort and companionship; there's something more. Something... forbidden. She glances around the bar, making sure no one is paying too much attention to them, and then leans in closer. "What exactly do you have in mind?" she whispers, her voice barely above a breath. Alice smiles, her gray eyes twinkling with mischief. "Come with me," she says, taking Rain's hand and leading her through the hotel's dimly lit hallways. The air feels thick with anticipation as they walk, the carpet beneath their feet silencing their steps. They turn a corner, and there it is: Alice's hotel room door, ajar, the inviting light spilling out into the hallway. Alice glances back at Rain, a smile playing on her lips. "After you," she says, gesturing for Rain to enter first. The tension between them grows even thicker as Alice closes the door behind them, locking it with a soft click. The room is small but cozy, with a king-sized bed dominating the space. A dresser stands against one wall, a mirror above it reflecting the flattery of the room's dim light. The air is heavy with the scent of incense, and the sound of a soft jazz song playing from a radio somewhere nearby. Rain takes a tentative step forward, her gaze locked on Alice's. With a blink of an eye, Rain embraces Alice, kissing her deeply. She craves more, her fingers fumbling with the buttons of Alice's blouse. In a flurry of movement, her shirt comes off, revealing her perfect, pale breasts. Rain's mouth finds one of Alice's nipples, sucking it into her mouth as she nibbles gently. Alice moans, arching her back into the touch. Their passionate embrace carries them across the room, falling heavily onto the bed. Rain rolls onto her back, pulling Alice on top of her. Their kisses grow more urgent, their bodies moving in perfect synchrony. Rain's hand finds its way between them, rubbing Alice's damp center through her underwear. Alice gasps, her hips bucking against Rain's hand. She breaks the kiss, gasping for air, her eyes fixed on Rain. "Take them off," she whispers, her voice barely audible. Without hesitation, Rain slips Alice's panties down her legs, revealing her smooth, wet folds. She leans in, taking one of Alice's pale breasts into her mouth, sucking hard as she teases her nipple with her tongue. Alice arches her back off the bed, moaning loudly. Their lovemaking is urgent and primal, a dance of desire that carries them through the night. They move together, their bodies intertwined, the air thick with the scent of sweat and sex. As the sun begins to peek through the curtains, casting a warm, golden light across the room, Rain finds herself slowly coming back to reality. Her heart is racing, her body aching in the most wonderful way possible. She looks down at Alice, still sleeping peacefully, and for a moment, she wishes she could stay here forever. But she knows she can't. With a sigh, Rain carefully gathers her clothes from the floor and dresses in silence. She pauses for a moment, taking in one last look at Alice before slipping quietly out of the room. The hallway is still dim, the soft jazz music from the radio downstairs providing a soothing background noise. Rain takes a deep breath, trying to steady her racing pulse as she walks back home. As she arrives at her own door, she realizes that she hasn't really thought about school since last night. With a groan, she remembers school starts in two days. Rain steps inside her room, the familiarity of her messy bed and scattered clothes a welcome comfort. She throws herself onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling as she tries to process everything that's happened. It feels like a dream, like she's been transported into another world where she's finally found the courage to be who she truly is. But she knows that tomorrow, she'll have to face reality again....Her mom. The thought of her mom sends a shiver down Rain's spine. Her mom was an addict of alcohol and drugs and normally she'd bring home a new guy every night to sleep with. She was never there for Rain.
