Me and Sodapop sat and watched TV for a little until the rest of the gang showed up. Except for Dallas.

"Dallas said to tell you that he's real sorry. He's in the ol' freezer right now, he wasn't able to sweet talk this time." Two informed me before he took a slice of cake and basically inhaled it.

"Can someone come with me to visit him?" Darry volunteered, walked out the door with me. It was quiet for a bit until he brought up a memory of when I was around 15.

That was when I first met everyone. The gang. I had gotten kicked out for the very first time, and I was a wreck. I had been getting wasted and was smoking a few packs a day for a whole 2 weeks before Dallas found me at Buck's. He knew I was his age, so he decided to take me to the Curtis home. They knew who I was because of Pony - we had math together - and we started building up from there.

"It just feels so repetitive. Life, I mean." I crossed my arms as I spoke and looked at Darry. It started to sprinkle a little so I put on my hood.

"I know kiddo. It's gonna feel like that for a bit. You just gotta be patient while you grow." I nodded. Darry always knew how to make me feel better.

We finally got to the freezer. There was a bit of files to fill out before we could visit Dally, but after 45 minutes we were able to talk to him. He had his back turned to the jail cell, seeming to scratch something into the walls. It wasn't identifiable.

It was scratched into the walls more than a few times. I couldn't take it anymore, so I threw my arm against the bars. Yes it hurt, but it got Dal's attention. He turned around abruptly, his eyes widened.

"Jenn! Jenn I missed you!" He started rambling, just about how he had been going through a lot and how did didn't deserve me.

"Dal, shut up. It's my turn to tell you how I really feel." I crossed my arms as he nodded and got a few inches from the cell bars.

"How could you do this to me? I've never been nothin' but good to you, yet here you are, begging me to stay with you even after I catch you with some other broad! C'mon Dallas." He sighed and wrapped his long, rugged fingers along the cell bars.

"Jenn, I-" I cut him off before he could continue any further.

"I ain't done! Dallas, it hurts more because I know I can never love no one as much I do you. But how come you can't never love me the same? No matter what I do, I swear you just treat me like a play date. Like I'm just a temporary thing. Well I'm not! I'm not the average broad you'll pick up in Tulsa Oklahoma, and I'm tired of you treatin' me like it! Now you treat me right Dallas Winston, or I swear on my whole life that I'll tear you to pieces." I started slamming my hands on the cell door as I continued getting more and more angry. Dallas stood still, his eyes showing the tiniest bit of fear.

"Do you understand me?" I clenched my jaw as a single tear rolled down my cheek. He nodded. I didn't want to hear his voice anyway, so it was good that was all he did.

I loved Dallas Winston. But I just couldn't take it anymore.
