Melonhead woke up one day and yawned. As she got up, she decided to check the calendar on her phone. Once she saw the date 11/15/09 she was very excited. She ran to her mother's room with a big smile. "Mom, wake up!" She shouted, scaring her mother awake.

She took a deep breath "Melon, don't do that. You scared me half to death!" Her mom said, still taking deep breaths. "Oh, I'm sorry, Mom," Melon said, walking up to her bed. Her mom sighed. "What is it, Melon? It's 7 am." She said sitting up and turning her lamp on. Melon took a very deep breath to stop herself from exploding in excitement. "Today's the day the people from the phantom plane visit here at the Onudaenian village!" Her mom looked at her calendar "Oh, it is. I'll be ready in a little Melon. Go get out of your pajamas." Her mom said, smiling a little.

Melon nodded and rushed to her room to get ready. As Melon was walking to the front door she saw a silhouette in her kitchen. It looked very similar to her. She approached it and it vanished with a slight giggle. This was unusual, Melon was a little scared. She brushed it off thinking it was just her imagination. As she approached the front door, her mom asked her if she was ready to go. Melon nodded and they began walking to the gates. On the way, Melon kept seeing the same silhouette over and over again. She was convinced at this point it wasn't her imagination. She was being watched. She had no idea what or who the thing was, but they were just looking at her. She was unable to see its face, as it was just a silhouette at least she saw it as one.

While she was waiting for the rusty-looking silver, loud gates to open, she asked her mom about it hoping she'd know about it. Her mother simply said she was just imagining things and not to worry about it. Later on, the gates opened, and hundreds of people came through the gates, basically everyone but the king and queen it seemed. A woman with long red hair, and demonic red eyes, and her son also with red hair and red eyes walked over to Melon and her mom, as they were the first people they saw. "Greetings Onudanians." The woman said, smiling as her son was observing the area. Melon waved very happily. "Hello...uh demons? I don't know if that's offensive in any way" Her mom said kind of nervously. The woman chuckled. "It's not offensive at all, that's my species after all."

She nodded and said, "My name is Honeydew, and this is my daughter, Melon." Honeydew stated patting Melon's head. The woman smiled more, "Well, I am Rue, and that's my son, Lemon. I was just hoping that we could be friends–my village gets boring easily, and people are almost always the same."

Honeydew nodded and said, "I wouldn't mind being friends. I saw that you guys don't seem as aggressive as the others." Rue nodded in agreement. This started a whole new conversation. Melon approached Lemon with a smile. "Hello! It's very nice to meet you!" She said with so much excitement. Lemon was caught off guard by the excitement "Oh, hi. It's nice to meet you too." He said with a slight smile. After a while of talking, Melon decided to go show Lemon around her village. All while ignoring the silhouette's presence. About 30 minutes went by and they reached the final location of the village. "This is the castle where the king and queen live, even though that's obvious." She said as she saw the silhouette yet again, this time she was able to see a grin on its face.

'Man, it's hard to keep my personality normal with that....thing stalking me' she thought to herself. She hadn't realized that Lemon was saying something to her and only heard a little bit of what he said. "...in my village, people would tease me, because I'm only half-demon." That is what she heard–but she knew there had to be more context. Unfortunately, she didn't want to ask him to repeat because she was afraid of him thinking she wasn't listening to him. She decided to leave it alone and continued talking to him like normal. Melon and Honeydew said goodbye as Rue and Lemon left the village.

They headed back home and Honeydew began cooking dinner. Melon headed towards her room and when she did, it went pitch black. 'Okay, first the silhouette, now it's pitch black in my room? I could've sworn I turned the lights on She thought before trying to reach for another light. After a while of looking, she saw a figure–that looked like the silhouette, shaped like it at least. The thing looked almost identical to Melon. Matching her long straight red hair and blue eyes. The person looks like that, just with darker hair, a creepy grin, and demonic eyes.
