SAGE DIAZ

I slowly open my eyes and take in the unfamiliar surroundings of the room, my head throbbing with a relentless ache that feels like a hammer is pounding against my skull.

As I shift my gaze to the side, I notice a man sleeping in the bed beside me, his muscular body covered in tattoos and his hair a deep brown. I wreck my brain, trying to remember who this man is and what happened last night. "Hello?" My hand reaches over and gently taps his shoulder urging him to wake up.

He stirs and rolls over onto his back, turning to face me. As his face comes into my view, my eyes widen in shock. "OH MY GOD!"

Ace Rosso. We've hated each other for as long as I can remember, we've have tormented each other for years. There is no way i'd sleep with him. This is a nightmare.

His eyes slowly open after my scream, a confused expression crosses his face as he struggles to wake up fully, rubbing his eyes. He looks over to me and suddenly, his eyes are wide open. "What the hell happened?"

I look under the blanket and see i'm wearing nothing, confirming my nightmares. I let out a cry and close my eyes. WHYYY. I grab the blanket from the bed to cover myself and get up in a panic.

I instantly turn around once I see Ace naked on the bed. "I regret showing up to this party. I would've never came if I knew.. this would happen." I say, shaking my head with disgust.

"Glad we agree." I hear Ace get up from the bed, "Don't speak of this to anyone." Seconds later he leaves the room and closes the door behind him.

I quickly grab my clothes from the floor and get changed, praying nobody knows about this. Gossip goes around fast at this school, everyone knows everything.

I take in a deep breath before leaving the room. There's bottles all over the floor and some people sleeping on the couch. I be as quiet as possible, hoping sees me leaving the room after Ace and puts the pieces together.

After I finally exit the dorm room, I feel like I can breathe again.

I turn around and my best friend Josie runs up to me, "Sage, we need to talk. Now." She grips my arm and pulls me into the janitors closet, "Look."

I look at her phone and it's a picture of me and Ace sleeping in bed together. This can't be happening. "How'd you get this?"

"It's everywhere."

I look at the screen and it's a picture of Ace and I sleeping in the same bed. "This can't be happening!"

"So tell me, what happened last night?" Josie confronts.

"I.. don't remember. But what I do remember is you forcing me to come to this stupid party." I cross my arms, "So technically, this is your fault."

Josie lets out a laugh of shock and puts her hand to her chest, "It's not my fault you decided to have sex with Ace."

Hearing those words in a sentence makes me feel sick. Out of everyone it could've been, it was Ace. "I was probably too drunk to even know it was him."
