Where have they gone?
Where are the wicked people from the past? The ones who mock those they strike down?
The ones who once burned our cities and subjugated our people?
The ones who take, standing up from the high ledge, looking down on those around them? The ones who take, and take, and take— and there is no end to their taking.
They are gone now, nothing but dust in the earth.
New workers of wickedness have come in their place— but they too will be nothing but dust.
I will assure it, even if I have to do it with my own hand.
I will take back the thingsthat have been stolen from me.
