I look at the window, contemplating about life— while Niko keeps exclaiming about cars.. how annoying. As we arrive to school, me and my brother Niko look at Rose, the one usually making a conversation with Mitch or Rey. Rose snickered at Mitch, watching a popular video on social media. Riv waved at me.. and walked towards me, having a small smile on her face. "Hi Nicole! You going into Spelling Bee, or nah?" Rey asked curiously, her hands into her pockets. "Umm.. well, about that—" I said sheepishly, giggling. "For some reason, I spelled 'library' wrong.. aha—"

"EH?!" Rey said worriedly, tilting her head to the side slightly. I chuckled softly, crossing my arms. "I'm not joining— I didn't get qualified, anyways!" I grinned, as Riv looks at me in disbelief, not wanting to make the conversation more complicated.

"Ooookaaay, then. Well, at least you got second in History!" Me and Rey continue to talk, following Rose and Mitch up the stairs.

7:00-8:20

Narrator's POV

Everyone who got qualified in Spelling went over to the selected classroom, and go to the specific desks chosen for them.

The students tried their best in the Spelling Bee, and write with their markers on the paper.

Katherine - 1ST place 🥇
Athaine - 2ND place 🥈
Autumn - 3RD place 🥉

8:20

"There's literally nothing we can do, so why even bother to give us so much stress for tomorrow?! The finals for us today are overwhelming, ugh.."  Rey let out an exaggerated sigh, shaking her head. "The only reason why they put sports for us.. and the Elementary, is because we need to improve and uhh.. I don't know, really. But this is all for a field trip, TO ATTEND A TOURNAMENT AGAINST OTHER SCHOOLS." Rey huffed, running her hands through her hair.

"Rey, calm down.. the students we're against with is just gonna be the other students in this school, don't worry!" Athaine said calmly, giving her a reassuring smile. "Mmhmm.. I'll tryyy.." Rey whined, looking at other eating, some other people using their phones— or even just talking to someone else. Oh, how this won't end well if they find about tomorrow's opponents.

12:30 - The Final Game, Qualify!

The Chess players, Nicole, Ally, and Athaine went to the classroom to play Chess. Some of the people who did not sign up for any game, were rooting for their teams. The rest of the players in Badminton, were very anxious.

"Uwaaahh!! I actually don't know what to do, these games are making me STRESSED." Rey said in a shaky tone, looking at the badminton court. "Let's be partners nalang, deal?" Mikaela asked, and Riv nodded, still feeling shaky.

Mikaela — Akira
Katherine — Rose

Both Maxine and Rey realized that they wouldn't be partners, but they tried their best and won the game!
