Uncle Sugar sat on the edge of Plum and Peaches' bed, a twinkle in his eye as he began to spin the tale of Apple Sugar, the angel pony. "Legend has it," he began, "that Apple Sugar is a sweet pony who brings good luck to those who take responsibility for their actions and face the consequences, and bad luck to those who try to avoid them."

Plum and Peaches listened intently, their eyes wide with wonder as Uncle Sugar continued. "Some say she only appears to those who truly seek to do the right thing," he said, his voice low and mysterious. "But beware, for those who only seek her for personal gain will be disappointed."

The girls were fascinated by the story, and as Uncle Sugar spoke, they could almost imagine the beautiful pony galloping through the streets of their small town. But as the tale went on, they began to realize that there was a deeper meaning behind the legend.

"So, what does it all mean?" Plum asked, her brow furrowed in thought.

Uncle Sugar smiled. "It means that true luck comes from taking responsibility for your actions and facing the consequences, rather than trying to avoid them. Apple Sugar represents the idea that good things come to those who do the right thing, even when it's hard."

Plum and Peaches nodded thoughtfully, taking in Uncle Sugar's words. As they lay in their beds that night, they couldn't help but think about the legend of Apple Sugar, and what it meant for their own lives. They realized that they wanted to be like the pony in the story, brave and true, and always willing to face the consequences of their actions.

As Uncle Sugar finished his story about Apple Sugar, Plum and Peaches looked at each other with a mixture of awe and curiosity. "But what happened to her?" Plum asked, her eyes wide.

Uncle Sugar smiled. "No one knows for sure," he said. "Some say she's still out there somewhere, bringing good luck to those who do the right thing. Others say she disappeared long ago, and that the legend is just that - a legend."

Peaches, who had been quiet until now, spoke up. "But was she always an angel pony?" she asked. "Or was she just a normal pony who became an angel?"

Uncle Sugar chuckled. "That's the mystery of it all, isn't it? Some say she was always an angel, while others believe that she became one after performing a great act of kindness or bravery."

Plum and Peaches listened intently, fascinated by the idea of a pony becoming an angel. As they lay in their beds that night, they couldn't help but imagine what it would be like to meet Apple Sugar, and to experience the kind of luck that came from doing the right thing. They knew that they wanted to be like her, and to always strive to be brave and true, no matter what challenges lay ahead.
