*skipping 5 months forward*

It was my home race this weekend. I'm ahead in the championship and if I won this race my first F2 Championship would almost be saved.

My dad was pressuring me really much and I had been training all day, every day for the past week.

I hadn't seen much to Charles over summer break but we were still texting and calling each other often. Of course it happened in secret though..

It was Friday and my practice was starting in a few minutes. "Good luck out there M." Max whispered to me without anyone hearing him, before I got into the car and drove out on the track.

Practice went well and I got p1, but my father on the other hand, as always he meant that I was doing a shitty job and that I wouldn't achieve anything further in racing if I kept having this pace. Christian on the other hand ment the opposite.

We had a long talk and he even told me that a seat for Red Bulls second team, Alpha Tauri, was open for next season. He finished off by saying that if the Championship got in my hands I would have a big advantage.

What I liked about Christian was that he never compared me to Max in any way. He was only focused about me when we were talking.

It was a Friday like all others with my dad complaining until we leave the track because I wasn't fast enough. Nothing would ever be good enough for him.

Saturday too was according to my father 'horrible'.

Now it was time for the actual race in Zandvoort. It went off to a good start with me in the lead and in the middle of the race, a battle for 1st came between me and another guy. I went all in on the fight so dad wouldn't complain about me being weak, but maybe i pulled it a little bit too much.

Suddenly my car did a wild turn and sent me straight into the wall. I didn't know what happened, I felt my head spinning and I couldn't think clearly. My car was upside down.

The radio was on and I heard someone trying to get a connection with me. It was Max, I recognized his voice. He kept asking if I was okay, but I couldn't respond.

I tried to get up but my body didn't move. A few seconds later everything turned black.

Somehow, they pulled me out of there and got me to wake up. I noticed something. My right leg, it hurt. It was hurting so bad. They took me to the medical center in the paddock and from there on, they sent me to the hospital.

Thankfully my sister, Victoria was there this weekend. Vic joined me to the hospital in the ambulance since my father was mostly disappointed and Max couldn't leave, and neither could Charles.

We arrived at the hospital and they took me in to take an X-ray photo of my leg. Turns out it was broken and I had to stay in the hospital for the night.

Victoria stayed with me for a little bit until I convinced her to go back to the paddock to watch the end of the race.

It was the most boring thing to stay in a hospital when you could've watched your brother race or win your own race. Of course there was a tv in the room, but it wasn't the same.

Unsurprisingly Max won the race in front of Charles and Checo. But surprisingly later that day a cute handsome boy, wearing a Ferrari shirt came with white flowers to me.

"Knock knock, You want some company?" He said smiling.

I was happy he was here but kinda sad too, Max didn't show up when Charles walked in.

"Hey, yes please." I desperately said to him, in need of speaking to someone.

He handed me the flowers and saw my smile quickly fade as the minute went by. "What's up? Why are you so down?"
