Before I start this book it will be long, lol I got kinda carried away so yeah.

It was a Monday in late May 1984, I was beginning a job in Los Angeles California. The job was for a new guitarist with (Guns And Roses) and there was a young guy named "Axl" he never talked to me when I started working here, which was 3 days ago. But today on this particular day he walked by me and said "hey" I didn't know what to say so I said "hi" awkwardly I walk away trying to form a serious face, not very good at it though. Later that day I sat down in the dressing room, which all of us members shared since we were all guys and the band could only afford one right now, I layed my head back against the green velvet couch only to see Axl was looking my direction. When I looked towards him he was still staring I quickly put my head up and stood up, since I was still new and it was a different building then the one I went to for the audition I asked duff if he could walk me around and show me the way around. Duff replied with " of course I can I've got nothing better to do" he said while he laughed so we spent the next hour looking around.

I was working with the new guitarist Slash today and usually I would never have an hour with just me and someone else in the studio but today in particular I did. Finally getting the balls to do so, when I got done writing some lyrics me and the band sat down across from slash and making eye contact. I could tell he was looking my direction but didn't know if it was a good or bad thing. He looked away after about 3 minutes. I noticed He was *blushing* then I started to wonder was there something wrong or did he just like to stare at people.

After turning my head I started to *blush* all I could think about was getting to know him. It was Monday night and I was so mad at myself after we left (Sound City Studios). Later that night I had this dream about Axl we were on a couch and he was showing me his lyrics of "Welcome to the Jungle" when all the sudden he stopped and stared at me for a minute and then started caressing my leg. I then whispered while smiling "what the hell are you doing" he then replied with "what you've always wanted me to do" ugh I was so in love I couldn't stop smiling. Then I woke up and realized it was all a dream I got out of bed and walked into my kitchen with a frown. Then looked on the work schedule and saw I had to hurry since we had another tour today. It would end up being in Syracuse, NY and located at the fairgrounds.

I walked out of our bands apartment to smoke a cigarette and then we packed up waited for the bus and our manager to head there. And then we will head to the fairgrounds in NY. I remembered slash will be with us and I think about the possibilities that could've happened with him. When I think of him I get this feeling that's unexplainable. It never was supposed to happen since he's our guitarist and our friend. But after I saw him at the 1st tour, I can't stop thinking about him and how I could get the balls to talk to him today besides having to talk about work. I walked over to Duff and Izzy and sat down they looked at me and asked if I was alright, I thought to myself like I could really tell them I have a crush on the person that we will be our best friend and our band member. I just couldn't say a word about it to them so I told them " yeah I was just trying to think about some new lyrics".

I immediately put clothes on fixed my hair and then left the house and headed to the bands apartment. While heading there I thought to myself maybe I will get over the fear of talking to him. Then all I could think about is how the bus ride will be long and I can spend time with him. While working on tour today it will be very different then all the other ones because we've only had a tiny amount to gather everything. I was praying over and over that it goes good and that I get to see the how I will spend my life being with the band.

When I walked out of my room I saw slash and Izzy laughing so I stood against the door way and waited while tapping my foot. After 4 or 5 minutes of waiting they finally headed out to our tour bus. We are finally going on tour today, the bus ride will be a long drive but that didn't stop me from thinking about my feelings towards slash and how I will get to see him. It was getting really late so I looked over at Steven and asked him about the motel which he responded back by saying "stop here" and the bus driver did we all headed inside and chatted.
