Darry sat me down at the dining table and rubbed his eyelids before starting to count how much I stole.

"I don't want to know where you got it, but we'll drop it off tomorrow. It's way too late right now." I groaned and nodded.

"Thanks Darry. I'm gonna pass out on the couch, is that okay?" He nodded and smiled.

"Anytime kiddo." I laid down and sighed. I was too impatient. I needed to see Dallas. I couldn't go anymore without him. While thinking about him, I fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up and instantly felt a rush of excitement come over me. I'd finally be able to see Dallas again. I missed him so much, and even if I was mad at him, all I wanted was for him to hold me again.

"Mornin'! Are you ready to go bail Dal?" Darry walked out from the kitchen and smiled big. I nodded while smiling.

After I got my hair brushed and some new clothes on, we walked to the cooler to get Dal. Darry had the money, and I had my open arms ready for Dal.

When we arrived, it took a ton more paperwork for the bail. But in the end, it was worth it. I saw Dallas walk out handcuffed, and I couldn't help but run over and hug him with all my might.

"Hey, BabyDoll!" He was let out of his cuffs and wrapped his arms around my head.

"I missed you Dal! Don't ever leave me like that again." I slapped his chest before I hugged him once more. He laughed, and off we went.
