I wake up at 10 am. I slept for 12 hours but my body clearly needed the rest. I go to the kitchen in my leggings and oversized shirt. John and Lewis are sitting at the table looking over some statistics.
- Good morning, sleepy-head. – John teases me. – We have some fresh croissants on the counter if you are hungry.
- Thank you, do you have coffee? – I ask.
- Yes, of course. I am addicted to caffeine. – says John.
- That must be a family thing then. I cannot function without it. – I laugh.
- Great... another coffee-fan. Who am I going to drink tea with? – says Lewis pouting.
- Well, if there is coffee, not with me. – I answer.
I make my way to the kitchen and prepare my latte. I go over to the boys and sit down.
- What are you working on? – I ask politely, but actually I am very much interested in their work.
- Just some strategies and numbers for the next race. By the way, we are leaving for Australia on Wednesday. We should register you to your new school on Monday. – says John. – I hope that you are okay staying here alone, we will come back after the race.
- Yes, that's fine. I can entertain myself. I should look for a job anyways to keep me busy while you are away.
- If you are interested, we can get you a job at the team. With this many languages you would be a real asset. – smiles Lewis.
- Oh, I cannot ask you that.
- You are not asking, I am offering. And I really think that you would be a big help. Let me talk to Toto, our team principal. We will have dinner with him tomorrow. You should come by. – says Lewis.
- Let's try it. – I agree.
What could go wrong? Worst case scenario, they reject me. I could be useful, and this opportunity would kick-start my career. I finish my coffee and stand up to go back to my room.
- Sara, do you want to train with us in an hour? – asks Lewis.
- I don't really know, I am not so fit as you guys, I only run. – I answer.
- I can show you some exercises that help you build strength and stamina in general. – John tries to convince me.
- Okay. – I smile at them and go back to my room to get changed.
I put on my running outfit, long pants and a tank top making sure that it properly hides my scares caused by our abusive parents. They don't need to see what they had done to me. I tied my shoes and make my way into the living room. The boys are there preparing the room for the work out. When Lewis notices me, I can see that he is discreetly checking me out. My training clothes don't show a lot of skin, but they are quite tight. I do the same because he is shirtless, he only wears shorts. I can barely take my eyes off his chest and six-pack. This man is something else. I saw attractive people before him, but they never turned me on as much as he does now. Luckily, my brother doesn't notice this. It is for the best because I cannot have any types of relationship with his boss/best friend. I look away and start stretching. John showed me great exercises and he even explained everything in detail. Compared to others, I am relatively strong but Lewis and John are a different category. I am so tired by the end of our sessions that I can only do the cool-down stretching by sitting. I lean forward, touch my toes, and stay down completely exhausted.
- Wow, you are really flexible. – says John watching me. – And you are strong as well, I wasn't expecting you to be able to do all of the exercises with us.
I can see that he is impressed with me and he is happy that we found something in common. Sport is a big part of his life and I am glad that I can take part in it a little. I lay on my back and I lift my leg up.
- Let me help you with that. – offers Lewis while John is putting away the equipment.
He holds my leg and starts to push it gently towards my face. His eyes go wide as is able to push my legs almost next to my head without any difficulty.
- This is insane. – he mumbles holding my leg.
I don't know what he is thinking about but he starts blushing. I can only guess from the way he looks at me that it is probably connected to my flexibility. After finishing stretching, I thank them and I go to take a shower. I wash down the sweat but I cannot stop thinking about Lewis and the way he held me. What is happening to me?
