| Rowan Laslow x Quiet!Fem!Reader

• -Being an outcast among outcasts was pretty hard to manage

• -But here you were- sitting in the library to avoid the monstrous cliques that had been formed since the school year began

• -You picked out a book and quietly read during the lunch break

• -No one else ever used the library, you'd heard a teacher complain

• -It was a perfect spot to be alone in

• -You had practically unofficially claimed it as your own

• -Until one day there was a boy in your usual spot

• -You recognized him as Rowan Laslow, from your fencing class

• -He didn't particularly get along with anyone else you'd observed

• -When you were as quiet as you were, not many people cared to interact and you weren't going to go out of your way to bother anyone

• -You let him be and decide to go somewhere else

• -"I'm sorry, was this your usual spot?" He calls out, having noticed your presence

• -He acknowledged your presence

• -You nod, giving him an answer

• -"I can leave if you'd like, I didn't mean to intrude."

• -Now it was finally your turn to speak to someone other than a teacher

• -"No, it's alright. We could share the library." You offer.

• -He graciously smiles and agrees

• -For the next few weeks you actually look forward to your time spent in the library with Rowan

• -It felt nice not having to have your shell up while around him

• -He understood what it was like to be an outcast among outcasts

• -Eventually you started talking more around him and he warmed up to you as well once he figured you weren't going to be mean to him

• -He found comfort in your presence and began asking you to hang out more

• -You two soon became two peas in a pod, the two of you could often be seen together in places not many others frequented

• -You always caught him staring at you during long conversations

• -He loved admiring you, he couldn't help it

• -He loved it when he made you laugh, when you spoke about something you liked doing

• -He loved you, a lot

• -You loved him, too
