After Lo'ak, everyone used their time on doubling the war party meetings, heavy combat training including the younger kids above 5 years old, building shelters incase of another attack & gathering emergency food.

While Mr Sully, my dad & Tonowari travelled back to Hometree carefully to inform the forest clan on the new arrangements & check up Dr Patel's updates on the ship.

Neteyam isolated himself, only spoke to me & his mom.

We understood his need to be alone. Training with the Mentors in the morning & alone at night, sleeping only for 4-5 hours per day, walking pass Rotxo, Aonung & Tisreya like they were strangers, they did the same too.

Meanwhile me? I cooked for Neteyam & his sisters daily, making sure that they got into bed early & stayed under my watch when Mr Sully & Neytiri were out. Tsireya & Ronal occasionally would come over to my pod with herbs & medicine for my pregnancy as I was already 6-7 months pregnant.

My belly was huge by now to where I couldn't even look at my feet.

Whenever Neteyam had finished his trainings & meetings, he would immediately rush home, never leaving my side in fear of the past traumas.

With his rut every once a month, Neteyam painfully locked himself in a distant pod from mine.

My body would react to his scent every now & then too, it wasn't my heat but it sure was something similar that I couldn't explain. It felt more but I was able to control it.

The crave I have for this man was insane compared to my heat, he would take notice too & sometimes act on it when my body was able to still bear his throb. Even though I told him on some occasions that I preferred to be alone & he respected it.

But that was only possible for the first 3 months. Now we would plan on when to stay away from each other even though it was a painful process for the both of us.

My dad & Kiri would take over Neteyam's place in looking after me. Feeding me medicinal soup & fruits, massaging my sore muscles & telling me sweet stories about the new nature they've explored here at the Metkayina.

Tuk was slowly growing up with the absence of her brother, showing little bits of similar rebellions like he did before he passed. That was excused because it reminded all of us of the once known reckless boy.

Rotxo continued to visit Aonung as he stayed with the fishermen at the far end of the shores. bringing food from Ronal & teaching him the new combat moves that Tonowari & Mr Sully taught the Mentors.

& Tsireya? She yearns for no one but him, the ache between her legs grew excruciatingly as he was plastered on her mind during her days of heat. I would stay by her side as how she did with me, taking care of her health as she sobbed uncontrollably for her first love.

Everyone was different after Lo'ak's passing. its like a dark cloud over everyone's hearts.

"My love, I think that's enough training for one day" I said softly to the sweaty man with a dagger in his hand.

He panted, wiping his forehead with a cloth drench with water from the stream just by his feet. Turning back with rage in his eyes, slowly softening as he caught a glimpse of me & my hand on my belly.

"Ma'Vi, my beautiful wife. Look at you under this moonlight" he spoke as he tilted his head in awe.

"You're going to make me blush Nete" I chuckled.

His bicep muscles ripped as he held me in his arms, pulling me close to where our chests came in contact but carefully as my belly made a gap between us. My hands trailed up from his shoulders to his neck, sending shivers to his back.
