The start of the Arctic Monkeys

It was a rainy day in London and my best friend Johanna Bennett was talking about this newly discovered band that was playing tonight and to be completely honest I was kind of excited because this entire month I have just been curled up in the couch watching to many reality tv shows anyways I'm so happy Johanna finally dragged me out of bed.

" Come on Arabella we really need to get going I heard the lead singer is really hot" she laughs I can't help myself from giggling a little too. I really haven't been in a relationship for a really long time and I'm not really looking for one either. Their concert was in Liverpool so we were kind of close because we where staying at a hotel near the pub where they were performing.

I decided to wear a pair of Dr. Martens and a short jeans skirt with knee socks and a black top with a red leather jacket over and Johanna wore a pair of boots and a black skirt with a white shirt and a jeans jacket. "Do you have to your keys because we need to get there a little earlier" I said so we grabbed our stuff.
When we arrived it turned out Johanna got the time wrong and we came 2 HOURS  earlier anyways we decided to have some drinks we sat down and a 2 guys approached us " hey pumpkin can I get you a drink" the tall blond guy asks "uhm no thanks I'd rather die then accept a drink from you" that might've been a little to harsh but I didn't regret it because the response was "listen princess I will be on the bathroom in 10 min if your not there-" then a brunette approaches me and interrupts him "who tf are you get out of 'ere she didn't want your drink then she will definitely not wanna hook up with you get outa 'ere" he says he turns around " are you okay" he askes in a thick accent " oh uhm yeah sorry do I recognize you" I ask " oh shit yeah I'm Alex turner" I open my mouth in shock. "Wait aren't you from uhm the uhm shit sorry it's in the back of my head" he laughs " OMG YES ARCTIC MONKEYS IM SO SO SORRY" I almost yell and I chuckle in embarrassment.

We walk towards the other side of the bar where Johanna is sitting when she sees who I'm standing next to her jaw practically fell on the floor " omg OMG it's you!" He laughs again and Johanna pulls his shoulder so he would sit down and she starts talking to them and they instantly click and I start feeling jealous and I have no idea why I mean I just meet the man ugh so annoying I ignored that feeling and I just sat down as the third wheel until the concert started.
