"They should be coming this way at any time."
Two battlecruisers who sailed under no flag waited patiently on the open water. They were waiting to meet a convoy that certainly wasn't expecting to meet them, as they were sailing off to Azur Lane. One of them had long, blonde hair done in an impeccable braid, along with emerald-green eyes, and she had taken on the dress of someone quite regal- a dark red and white dress with a long, layered skirt, as well as a violet, gold-trimmed sash. She had a jeweled little crown long gloves, tall, white boots, and a gold scepter that was long and sturdy enough to be used as a mace- and given her general demeanor, that was a possibility, as she gave off an air of frustrated elegance. She knew how to behave perfectly in every situation, and was constantly annoyed at being surrounded by people who didn't. She calmed herself by drinking from a blue, white, and gold teacup perched on a similarly-colored saucer.
Princess Royal's companion was one of those- an enchantingly dangerous creature with long, dark hair and eyes colored an alluring sunset orange. She had a long, open blue coat lined with black and white striped fur, and a slightly ruffled blouse that was open as much as she dared- and she dared quite a bit. She had a similarly-colored skirt that, while long, only barely did the job of one- it was slit high enough that it showed off not only her black shoes, and dark stockings, but also what the aforementioned stockings were attached to. Princess Royal had found that there was no way that Tiger would stand, sit or, lounge that didn't somehow show herself off, magnified by the fact that her fellow battlecruiser had proportions that made her own look distinctly modest. However, Princess Royal also know that there was no position from which Tiger was not ready to pounce.
Princess Royal gave a bored look over the sea. "I can't believe that Erin held us back from that last battle. I would've thought she of all ships would understand such a thing would be a slight against me."
Tiger returned her statement with a slightly fanged smile. "I didn't think you were in such a hurry to go out the way that Queen Mary did, back in the old days. Besides, this sort of battle is one we're most suited for- I would've thought someone like you would relish the chance to show the cruisers of Azur Lane that you're not someone to be scoffed at."
Princess Royal took a discontented sip from her teacup. "I guess we'll just have to take our opportunities when we can. I would've just liked to have joined Erin when she reminded those desperate serfs who lay like dogs at the feet of their human lords that we aren't going to go quietly this time."
Tiger chuckled. "Think of this way- you'll have to share your noble glory fewer ways this time- you'll only have to divide it with me."
Princess Royal sighed. "Indeed- with you. So, how does Erin say we should handle them?"
Tiger smiled. "We aren't supposed to kill them if we can avoid it, merely make them uncomfortable- She doesn't consider them totally lost, merely misguided. Erin would just like to give those little dears a very quick, sharp reminder that relying on the protection offered by the goodwill of humans isn't something that will save them."
Princess Royal balanced her teacup on her saucer handily despite the rolling sea. "Well, that only stands to reason. They can't talk to their deluded comrades about how horrible it is to fight us if we dispose of them in the dark. I assume that we've proven our point, we are to seize one of their supply ships?"
"Of course!" Tiger chuckled. "Erin even told us what to look for." Tiger gave a long, languid stretch, posing to show off every last marvelous curve and inch of her form, even though Princess Royal was her only audience. "Ahhh~ To be called back to do a battle like this, the kind of thing I was made to do, it's just... Mmmm~!"
