*one week timeskip*

Today was finally my day off and instead of staying home... I'm back in a theatre. I bought tickets to Newsies at 8:00 pm! Luckily I'm not in back balcony and rather a couple rows back from the stage. After spending so much time in that theatre I've found the perfect spot. And I got it for tonight!

I was rushing around my room trying to find something to wear. I finally decided on a nice light purple dress. I paired it with some white heels and gold jewelry. I left my apartment and caught a cab in record time to make it to the theatre. After about a 15 minute drive I was dropped off right in front of the Nederlander. I entered the establishment and a wave of nostalgia hit me. I ran into somebody and saw Claire! One of the stage managers!

"Jocelyn! You're seeing the show?" She pulled me into a hug

"Yeah, it's my day off so I bought a ticket!"

"I have to go but you enjoy the show!" She rushed away like she always does

I laughed a bit and headed into the theatre. I walked down to the front and made my way to my seat. After scrolling on Instagram for a few minutes the overture started and I saw that beautiful set I know so well.

. . .

Finally, I saw my boys all on the stage at once. They were taking their bows and I was sure I was the first to stand up. I must've caught some eyes because they all alerted each other and waved. I waved back shyly before the curtain closed. I rushed out of my seat as fast as I could and made my way to the stage door. I was luckily at the front! I waited for a few moments before some people came out.

I got everybody to sign my playbill except for one boy I was really hoping to see. Some people had gone but I was determined to see him tonight. A few moments passed and the doors opened. I looked up hopefully and he was here! Mike! I waited with anticipation for him to see me. He signed playbill and turned his head. His eyes met mine and a wide smile graced his face.

He rushed over to me and pulled me into a tight hug, pining my arms to my side.

"Hey Mikey!" He let go but still held onto my forearms

"I missed you!"

"I missed you t-" I started

"Go out with me."

"W-what." I was shocked

"Go on a date with me. Tomorrow." He pleaded

"I have a show tomorrow." I sighed

"What time?"

"2:00..." The time came our slowly as my smile grew

"Perfect. I'll pick you up at 7:00 dress formal?"

"Okay! You have to go now. But I'll see you tomorrow."

"Bye Jocey."

"Bye Mikey."

.  .  .

I was on cloud 9 when I arrived at my apartment. My crush just asked me out. Me! I changed my clothes but I was in a different world. Nothing could hurt me. I fell onto my bed in a daze and fell asleep quickly ready for the next day.
