I feel myself falling, the world spinning before my eyes and then I feel nothing and I succumb to the darkness embracing it like a mother embraces her child until I feel nothing.

My head feels heavy as I try to open my eyes. The light from the light bulb shines brightly into my eyes causing an abrupt sharp pain in the front of my head. It takes a few seconds for my eyes to get accustomed to the light and when I did my eyes almost threatened to pop out of its socket

How was I back here?, why was I lying on my bed in Diana's house?, who brought me here?. I calm myself down and willed my brain to match the pieces together but it was not as fast as I would want it to be but I patiently waited until the pieces formed.

I remember the river where I had decided to rest for few minutes before continuing on my run, a big mistake on my part  that I know realized, if I had not stopped I might not have been caught by Alpha Kaden.

Alpha Kaden!, my mind screamed, the growls in the bush, the wolf that frightened me, the wolf that had turned out to be my mate. The moon goddess was certainly punishing me, my destiny was in fact to die in the hands of the one that was meant to be my eternal love, I can not see any other way around this situation I have been forced into.

He must be disappointed and outraged, he did not deserve this kind of pain after all that has happened, was the moon goddess also out to get him by pairing him with the daughter of the man that had murdered his first mate as his second chance mate, this was the first time I have ever heard of such a thing, was there ever second chance mates?, could my father had simply gotten one instead of running mad?, How was this even possible to begin with?.

This was no bond, I was simply Alpha Kaden's torture and he was to be mine as well. Was he the one that returned me back here to the pack when I fainted ? I would have preferred if he had left me out to die than bring me back here or was this all his plan all along , had he returned me back to die in the hands of my pack members?, Alpha Samuel would definitely  not sure mercy this time and Diana would not even be able to save me and Sean would make sure that he finally he got his way with me before I am sentenced to my death.

In my own sick thinking, I was happy, it would finally end, this life, this suffering would finally end and I would be with my parents wherever they are.

I will be strong, I will embrace death with a smile and a contented heart. The sound of the bedroom door made me immediately sit up in the bed and I clasped my blanket tightly. But the person that entered the room completely stunned me, he was the least person I would expect to come see me at this point.

"Williams !" I gasped in confusion, what could he be doing here, I thought did not exist to him.

He entered the room and locked the door behind him.

"What are you doing here?, what do you want?" I asked but he only eyed me and he eyes roamed my body pervertedly and it made me feel uncomfortable.

"I can't believe you are not my mate" he finally spoke up and my confusion grew as alongside my discomfort

"I do not understand" I voiced out trying my best for my voice to not come out shaky, Williams was acting strange and I would not show him that I am afraid of him

"You do!. You belong to me!" He screamed violently and I hugged the blankets even tighter

"Williams !, what is this?– have you gone mad?" I questioned, Williams has always been a cool headed man, and everyone praised him for how good he was in keeping his feelings in check ever since he was able to transform to his wolf. This Williams before me was nothing like the one I grew up with, he was not the mature young boy I had crushed on for years.
