TLH2: Chapter 39

The days went by so fast and we're only a month away from the wedding. Everything is already perfect. Raffy made sure every detail we want, we will have it. Kaya siguro ay stress na stress na ito. Don't get me wrong ha, I'm not pressuring him. Maybe Raffy is just being himself when it comes to events like this. Which why he's the best among the rest.

And with these days that passed by, I remembered what Ricky texted me. I almost forgot to respond to him that night, naalala ko na nga lang when Ivan and I were about to sleep. I replied to him but hanggang ngayon wala pa rin itong sagot.

I called him too, but to my surprise, he is not answering it. Siguro ay busy na din ito at nakalimutan na kung ano man iyong sasabihin niya. Any way, he'll call or text naman ulit if it's really that important.

I heard a knock at my door. I'm actually in my room, hindi nga ako nakapasok dahil sobrang sakit ng ulo ko and I don't even know why. Ivan knows it kaya hindi na niya muna ako pinapasok ngayon.

"Come in."

The door slightly opened and I can see a head peeped at the door, nagtataka naman akong nakatingin dito.

"Hey."

"What are you doing here?"

His smiles widened and opened the door fully and tuluyan ng pumasok ito. He gave me kiss on the lips ng makalapit ito sa akin.

"How are you feeling, babe?"

"I'm feeling fine now, why are you home so early?"

He pouted. "Ayaw mo ba nandito ako, babe? Nagmadali pa naman ako umuwi ngayon."

Nanlaki naman ang mga mata ko sa sinabi niya. "It's not like that. I'm just not used to you being home this early."

He pinched my nose. "Well, I'm here and you're feeling fine now. So, do you want to go somewhere?"

I crinkled my nose. "Hmm, I'm not sure. I don't feel like going out today."

He looked at me skeptically. "Are you sure you're okay, Eunica?"

"O-Oo naman. I'm just feeling tired. That's all." I said while I laid down on my bed.

Ivan laid down beside me. I moved a little to make space for him and he kissed me on my forehead.

"If you say so, babe." Sabi nito. I looked at him and I've felt the urge to squeeze my head on his neck. He smells so good. "Where's our son by the way?"

Natigil ang pag-amoy ko kay Ivan. "Ivo is with Mom and Dad. Kanina pa ata sila umalis." I said bago isiniksik muli ang mukha ko sa leeg nito. Hindi ko alam kung bakit gustong gusto ko yung amoy niya ngayon. Nakakagigil!

Ivan looked at his watch pagkuwa'y tumingin sa akin. "Enjoying yourself, eh?"

Tinignan ko ito sa sumimangot. "Why? Is there a problem with that?"

He chuckled. "Nah. I'm just saying, babe."

Silence reigned over us. This is so peaceful and relaxing. Walang kung anong problema ang dumadating sa amin. Everything is so simply perfect right now. It's so nice doing nothing. I closed my eyes while my head is still squeezed on Ivan's neck. This is so comfortable. Parang ayoko ng tumayo sa kama at dito nalang ako magdamag. Mas lalo ko pang isiniksik ang mukha ko sa leeg ni Ivan.

I heard him laughed. "Hey easy, Tigress. Mababali yung leeg ko niyan."

Bahagya akong lumayo at tinignan ito. "You smell so good, babe!"

I saw smirked. "I know."

Hinampas ko naman ito. "Yabang mo naman!"

He held my hand and kissed it. "I'm just joking, babe. Get up. I want to show you something. "
