Chapter 4

   (Sorry this is late! Gonna get crazy here though! I hope you guys will enjoy this)!

   Eliza Grace and John got ready in their apartment for the Delta Lambda Zeta party, which would begin soon. The former was absolutely annoyed that she was going, but she was only going because John and their friends were going. "You gonna join that sorority?" John asked. "Fuck no!" Eliza Grace yelled, causing John to cackle. "I'm just fucking with you!" He laughed. Eliza Grace giggled and shook her head.

   After getting ready and grabbing everything they needed, they walked out of their apartment. John could sense that his girlfriend was nervous about something. "What's wrong, babe?" He asked. "I'm just scared. A party was what we went to when Billy and Stu injured us and killed Tatum. What if the killer strikes again at this party?" Eliza Grace wondered, about to cry. "Babe, don't worry. I'm sure nothing's gonna happen. Look, if you're really scared, we don't have to go. We can have a chill movie night if you want." John offered. Eliza Grace shrugged. "I'll just go. For the others." Eliza Grace muttered. "Ok. If you wanna leave early, just tell me." John voiced. Eliza Grace nodded, and they continued to walk.

   They arrived at the dorms and John went to meet up with the boys while Eliza Grace met up with Sidney and Hallie. They kissed each other and said bye, separating to their destinations. Eliza Grace arrived at Sidney and Hallie's room and knocked on the door. It opened to reveal Sidney. "Hey girl!" Eliza Grace exclaimed. Hallie popped up behind Sidney. "Hey Liz! You look beautiful!" Hallie yelled. "You both do too!" Eliza Grace giggled. "Where's John?" Sidney asked. "He went to meet up with Randy, Derek, and Mickey." She answered. Sidney nodded in response. The three girls eventually made their way to the sorority house. It felt like deja vu for Eliza Grace, and no doubt Sidney too, when they were heading to Stu's house with Tatum. They missed her a lot. The duo just never really talked about her to each other. It hurt too much.

   They eventually made it to the Delta Lambda Zeta sorority house. "Hey, I am not a sorority pusher. I just think, despite its trivialities, it is a life-affirming, mentally stable, healthy environment for you both. I mean, look at this freakin' place." Hallie explained. "I think you're taking your psych major a little too seriously, Hallie." Sidney said, sniffing a treat Hallie handed her, before throwing it away. Eliza Grace ate hers since she didn't want to be rude. "I'm fine." Sidney muttered. "Yeah? That's beginning to become your theme song. 'I'm fine.' Yeah, fucked up, insecure, neurotic, and emotional." Hallie went on. "Damn ok." Eliza Grace chuckled.

   "Sidney, Eliza Grace! You made it!" Lois said, walking up to the trio. "Hi! No, I really mean that. Hi." Murphy exclaimed. "Hi." Sidney uttered. "Do you girls want a drink?" Lois asked. "Uh, well actually, yeah but you know what? We'll get it ourselves." Sidney replied, walking away with the other two girls. Eliza Grace felt internally grateful. Lois and Murphy did seem nice, but sometimes they seemed fake with their kindness. 

   The party continued on. Eliza Grace didn't drink much, just in case. She only had one martini, but other than that, not really. Eliza Grace hadn't seen the guys yet, so she just hung out with Sidney and Hallie. Lois and Murphy continued to talk to them as they walked around, and eventually brought them outside. "Everyone thinks that sororities are just about blow jobs, but it's not true." Lois said to Sidney and Eliza Grace. "We only promote safe, condom sex. See, we're about love, respect, and responsibility." Murphy added. Eliza Grace almost snickered, since she and John were not doing what they promoted. "Harmonica style is ok, right?" Lois asked. After Murphy answered her question, Randy appeared behind them with three cocktails in his hands.

   "What took you so long?" Sidney asked. Lois and Murphy grabbed two of the cocktails in delight. "And you know Derek is a Delta Lambda big brother." Murphy pointed out. "And we like to keep it all in the family." Lois added. "Uhhh, incest or?" "Wow. You girls have really given us a lot to think about. Right Liz?" Sidney voiced. "Yeah, definitely." Eliza Grace replied, which was obviously a lie. Sidney thanked them before walking away to see Derek. Eliza Grace saw John and immediately rushed over to him.

   "Sorry I'm late, babe. The dumbasses were holding me up." John apologized. "It's ok. I'm just glad you're here. You're helping me escape from all this estrogen." Eliza Grace joked. The couple walked to stand next to Mickey. Randy also walked over to them. "'The Empire Strikes Back.' It was a better story, improved effects." Mickey said. "Not a sequel. Part of a trilogy. Completely planned." Randy countered. "Indeed." John agreed. "Yeah, I like those little furry things." Hallie chimed in before walking away. "They're ewoks. They blow." Mickey replied.

   John and Eliza Grace stepped away, with the latter looking at her boyfriend in confusion about the previous moment. "This morning in Film Theory before you and Sidney got us, we were having a discussion about the murders and how they may be trying to start it again, like a sequel. So I brought up that why would people wanna do that since sequels suck. Mickey and the rest of the class tried to come up with sequels that were better than the original. So now Mickey's been trying to test Randy and I." John explained. Eliza Grace giggled and shook her head. "Of course. My little nerds are still nerds." She teased. "I'm not a nerd!" John tried to defend, but Eliza Grace continued to tease him.

   While Eliza Grace and John were talking, Lois and Murphy rushed in. "Hey guys! Something is up at Omega Beta Zeta! Police are everywhere." Lois announced. "Hurry!" Murphy exclaimed. Everyone began to rush out, including Mickey and Hallie. Only the two sets of couples remained and stood on the porch. Randy wasn't rushing out like the rest, and he looked at Eliza Grace, John, and Sidney with a certain look on his face. The trio remaining on the porch knew why. He was nervous about the copycat, and they were too. 

   The two couples observed from the distance, not really wanting to get any closer. "Come on, get your jacket. Let's get you home." Derek said to Sidney. "I'll come with you." Eliza Grace voiced. The two girls went inside while Derek and John waited on the porch. As Sidney got her jacket, the phone rang. They were on their way out, when Sidney stopped in front of the door. She looked back at the ringing phone. She walked towards it. "Girl, do not pick it up. Just let it ring." Eliza Grace said. It was too late though, as Sidney answered it.

   "Hello?" She spoke. She immediately showed fear on her face. "What do you want?" She asked, fearfully. "Sid, hang up!" Eliza Grace whisper-yelled. "Then why don't you show your face, you fucking coward!" She exclaimed. "My pleasure." A menacing voice said from further behind Eliza Grace. Her heart immediately sank as she recognized that voice. It really was happening again. "DEREK!!!" "JOHN!!!" The girls called for their partners, but it was too late. The copycat had closed the door and was standing in front of it.

   The killer ran towards them, but the girls managed to move out of the way and raced towards the door. Sidney and Eliza Grace were banging on the door while Derek and John did the same. The killer raced towards the girls again, and they ducked as the killer stabbed his knife through the door, making John and Derek terrified. The girls saw their boyfriends at the window, but they ran away to escape from the killer. The killer had gone another way to get to them, but tripped over the couch before he could kill the girls. 

   The duo went out the back door, where they had previously been during the party. They were about to run, but ran into two people. They both screamed, but quickly realized it was Derek and John. Derek quickly ran inside to try and stop the killer. "No Derek, don't!" Sidney pleaded. "Oh hell no, I'm not going in there! Fuck that!" John yelled. "Guys!" Another voice called. They looked over. "Dewey!" Sidney cried. Sidney quickly told him that the killer and Derek were inside, so Dewey immediately rushed in.  

   Dewey found Derek, slashed on his arm and bleeding. Once Dewey confirmed everything was fine, Sidney, Eliza Grace, and John walked in. They watched as Dewey applied pressure on Derek's arm, and they felt extreme fear. It was happening again. Their worst nightmare is coming back, just when they thought things were ok again.
